Hi, excuse me for barging in, but can I just check....are oxo's still synned?

Also, if I wanted to make an extra easy soup.....could I chuck in beef, soup broth mixture and veggies, would that be ok??

    Many thanks in advance:)
as far as I remember all stock cubes are now free. Your soup idea sounds fine to me as long as the meat is as near fat-free as it can be. A very very easy and SW-friendly soup is the Famous Pickled Onion Soup - into a blender put one tin of carrots, one tin of baked beans, 2 tins of tomatoes and a pickled onion or 3 (depending on size really) and blitz. Heat and eat. Free.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

The pickled onion soup is not lumpy - as long as you have a good blender! Sounds yuk but tastes mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I put extra tabasco sauce or chilli or garlic in mine - fantastic!

carrot & coriander comes out lovely thick & creamy (syn free)

    4or5 medium carrots diced
    1 large onion diced
    handful fresh coriander chopped

    1 chicken & 1 veg stock cube(or 2 veg if preferred) 1 litre water

put everything in large pan and cook until carrots are tender.

blitz with a stick blender (or in food processor)

    Tin baked beans
    Tin carrots
    2 tins tomatoes
Couple of pickled onions (to taste!)

All you need to do is put into a pan - cook till warm & blitz

It is like a tomato soup with a tang!

ohhh thanks sounds easy and different lol, im not sure id used tinned carrots (i hate them lol) but i might try that tomorrow.

the carrot and coriander is similar to my carrot and cheese. can anyone help with the syn value ?

    its 1lb carrots
    medium potato
1 onion (i dont put this in as OH doesnt like onion lol)
2 pints chicken or veg stock

cook all that together, blend then add 4 oz mature cheese and 1/4 pint semi skimmed. , id say it makes about 2 pints, and i can quite esily eat a pint of it lol.

Lolly it will be free on a green day if you HEA the milk and HEB the cheese

Otherwise on a EE youd need to use milk from HEA ( 1/4 pint isnt much) and syn the cheese or vice versa.
