Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -
Well, just so you ladies know, I haven't given up just yet, just finding it very difficult. It seems I don't eat junk anyway so think the weight loss will come a little slower than for many (not saying you're all junk food eaters, we just don't have takeaways or chocolate etc)
Thank you to whoever it was that pointed out that with exercise I might be gaining muscle instead of fat. I did already think that might be the case but thought it was just a myth.
I haven't done my obligatory exercise today, but I think lugging a fridge around the house and moving a freezer full of food (I do mean the actual freezer, not stuff that I've bought) might have burned off a few calories. We had a home made curry for tea that was absolutely gorgeous and the only thing in it that I had to syn was the tablespoon of olive oil. Mmmm, yummy!!!!
Dizzy, not done any of the recipes in any of the books you've loaned me because we've pretty much have plans for tea all week. Having to attempt to clear the freezer out pretty much dictated what we had.
But thank you for your kind words. I'm still wanting to lose weight, just wanted it to be easier than this lol. xxYaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0 -
right ladies this is serious - pls clarify the situation regarding the galaxy cookie crumble ASAP

Hi, no problem. Although I wouldn't really call it a recipe! I just put some wholewheat flour in a bowl (as I didn't have chapatti flour), a pinch of salt, and enough water to make it into a dough - stirring with a knife till it comes together.
Knead it for a bit. I then get a nice chunk of dough and roll it out, then cook in a hot non stick pan on both side till it puffs up a bit.
Not very exact, or authentic probably, but they work for me and I really liike them! Great to soak up that curry sauce0 -

The WW nacho cheese torillas are gorgeous.
I'm really craving chocolate at the moment; got to somehow not go to our corner shop which is a matter of a few hundred feet from where we live before Thursday!:eek:0
