    hi gals

did quite well yesterday in the end :T

did not over syn for the first time in aweek ( or more!)

today is going to be a day off in the main as we are going out for OHs birthday tonight and will be lots of cocktails and probably bad food!! BUt it will be broadly EE.

Off to http://www.iguanas.co.uk/ havent decided what im going to have, is tricky to decide, its all so yum, dont know whether to try to stick to lowest syns or just eat whatever!! Low syn could go for the roast chicken, baked sweet pot and salad ( or steak) otherwise it might be the full range of nachos, chimichanga ( the lure of the crunch!)

    http://www.iguanas.co.uk/pdf_menus/las-iguanas-soho-food-menu.pdf

Brekfast will be fruit and yog, lunch left over chili from last night with jacket potato
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Also can someone please tell me if the Tesco Slightly Sparkling Spring Water flavoured drinks are free? I've got the Apple& Raspberry one.

I gave up Diet drinks at Easter as I think asparthame is bad for you so have been drinking these instead.

Flutterby - These drinks are all free, but I think the Tesco ones do have aspartame. I don't like it either and when I looked into supermarket own range drinks, I think Sainsbury's were the only ones who use sucralose instead. This is in their coke etc as well as flavoured waters, so I try to stock up there as even diet coke and pepsi use aspartame.

  • morning all

am i the only one who is absolutely exhausted on this plan ?
i am finding it hard to get to sleep before 2.30am and then awake again by about 7 ish
i feel absolutely wiped out !!

my diet previous to this was mainly carbs i think , the main things being cereal, cake , cereal , biscuits , cereal , chocolate , cereal , the occasional decent meal and more cereal - you get the idea :rotfl:
i think the change is leaving me drained

i guess i'm after ideas on how to have more energy - off on hols this morning for a week and they are doing breakfast and dinner so will have limited control over what i eat

well done to all the losers too :)

ok girls this is it,i'm starting again today

only had a week off so will leap on the scales and assess the damage, wish me luck?

i've eaten all the nice stuff in the house, and my ma has loaded me up with Alpen bars,so i should be ok?

    today is a EE day

    B fruit and yoghurt

L salad and ham i think?

T will be cheesy mash and fish fingers, followed by more fruit salad
  • Mummyof5, do you think it's the sugar withdrawal giving you these symptoms? Cos the things you listed are all sugary. If so, I would think they will abate over the weeks .... signed, Dr Blackberry :) I certainly am sleeping better than ever (and have never had a problem anyway) and wake feeling refreshed and ready to face the day. And, having lost 2 st I can now turn over in bed without having to wake up and h-a-u-l myself over :). Onwards and downwards, you can do it.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • Susan, that menu doesn't look much to me! I'd have to chuck some cereal in with the fruit and yoghurt at breakfast, and some potatoes on with the ham salad ... but I'm probably just greedy. You don't wanna be hungry though as that's when those fairies sneak rubbish into your mouth :)
