I used to weigh the ladies in for my friend who ran SW for a good couple of years - this was about 4 years ago - we did weigh in half lbs and turn your back on the ladyh - no way - this was the time to make them feel special for losing or supportive if they had a gain - and I tell you something I used to find sooooo many times - if someone had been good or bad - it may not show that week but it sure did the next week - and I used to find myself the truth didnt come out for two weeks - the amount of people that had come off holiday and thought oh not too bad - thought it would be more than that but the next week ouch! Just worth bearing in mind if you have been very angelic and the scales dont show it - hang in there - the next week will show if you keep it up - ruddy hard though sometimes isnt it!0

I never used to be able to......I could sit and eat the whole flipping family sized bar with no problems
But thats why I ate my way up to my very unhappy size now
So rather than do without at all....I find it so much easier to have 2 or 3 little treats to look forward to every evening...I usually have a cube of caramel at 2 syns aswell but OH has eaten it all!!!!! - and ive suprised myself actually that I can feel just as satisfied with that little bit (well most of the time anyway......saying that its pmt time in about a week and thats the time when I tend to be climbing the walls :rotfl:)0 -

I just don't have any at all as if I open it I demolish it. Maybe I should have a go!
I also plan meals for the week as I find it much cheaper - I buy what I need and work out where to use leftover meals and also leftover veg etc. I'm a singleton so it doesn't get eaten by others if there are leftovers just me! I'll post a meal plan when I do next weeks.Pay off Debts by Christmas 2015 = DEBT FREE!0 -

Good work to all those that have had a loss!!
I put on 1lb in my weigh-in lastnight. I'm really not happy because I made a lot of changes last week and I really gave things a go. I changed to sweetener, I used the online syn values to check things before I ate them, I went to the gym 3 times, I cooked from scratch every day, ate more veg with my meals.....
Right now I feel a bit lost, just because I don't know what I've done wrong. I am due for my 'star week' which could explain the gain, but I was expecting a better result on the scales.
Does anyone have any advice at all about what I do for the coming week? It would be really appreciated at the moment! x:)
just keep at it like you have been, it's times like these it's easy to think 'sod it' and eat rubbish but you know you've been so good. fingers crossed for next weeks WI - i'm sure you'll be great! x"I believe in manicures. Its actually quite a nice feeling knowing I can say NOOOO!!! now even when OH is stuffing his face.......Its only when the fairies come once a month and start causing their usual problems that my will starts to weaken.....but so far Ive been ok beaten them away with my faithful kitkat bat & dairymilk balls :rotfl:
you're so disciplined, Dizzy. now, i'm not fussed by chocolate but cake is my downfall - any type. before SW, i was known to demolish a whole cheese cake in 1 or 2 sittings. disgusting!!! i can't even bear to have a slice as i know it's a slippery slope. (although traybake isn't included) x

Had a brainwave and put ham in the pasta rather than tuna. YUM! cheesy veg and ham pasta! If i can lose weight eating like this it is a miracle!
DizzyK i too admire your ability to eat a few squares of choc and then stop!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....
