Talking of those pesky fairies... WHO SENT THEM TO ME?? I had a job getting rid of the bleeders last night when they possessed my mum...

I have oversynned today thanks to the little blighters!! I had 5 quorn nuggets at 7.5 syns (instead of 3!) and 1/2 jar of sweet n sour sauce (3.5) which is 11 syns. Plus i had the crispy things and lemon curd and pasta n sauce and oyster sauce which takes my syns up to 17! BAH! mad0136.gif

Thankfully tho - i didn't eat peanut butter last night like i planned so only ended up eating 4.5 syns all day... so i guess its not so bad rolleye0016.gif

I still hate those fairies tho! Grrrr

    Might be worth knowing

If these are the ones you are having - surely you would of had 2.5 syns instead of 7.5?

Wedding dress fitting went well - but i need to tone my back and loose about 1 inch off waist to make it look perfect

If i get chance i will try attach a pic!

Done a excercise class last night - Legs, Bums and Tums - crikey i hurt! I struggled to sit on the toilet seat this morning! :rotfl:

RE: green days/ee days - i do alot of green days as i prefer to have more heb and corn, beans etc. I find if i eat rice i get really bloated - so limit that to takeaway night (to bulk out the food!) but i stick to mainly pasta - still try to maintain 1/3 superfree (though recently it hasn't happened!)
Only problem with green days is wind! But if i am windy and 'go' regularly i feel that it is working properly!

I can also tell if i have lost each week because i wee more! Strange but true

    Sorry if TMI :rotfl:

    Congrats to everyone :T x

Well brilliant! I have just got back from Argos with my new scales and they are bobbins

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8327998/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHealth+and+personal+care%7C14418350/Trail/searchtext%3EWATCHERS.htm

It is having me down at 6 stone 3. There is no way :D I would have faded into nothingness if I was 6 stone 3. Then I stood on it again
    and i was 6 stone 1, then again 6 stone 7 1/2

Think these might be going back somehow!

Will have to dig deep for the ones you got there dizzy or maybe find them cheaper somewhere else.

    sigh!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

the only negative feedback on mine in argos and on net was that they were big.....personally I liked that....I think thats why theyre more accurate tbh theyre same size as in docs surgery real sturdy & accurate on carpet too ive been known to have 2 lots of scales at once in the bathroom cos I ddidnt trust the ones I had :rotfl:

Now I'm at target I may try to do more ee so can encourage hubby and hopefully he will lose weight. I will also try to plan more meals with him in mind.

I would have thought that if you did extra easy you could have him on plan without realising it e.g. chilli and rice, bolognaise, lasagne, big meals of meat, potatoes and veg, stir fry... It looks less like a diet if you know what I mean. And if you can fill him up on that stuff he may not want snack foods too...

If cost is a problem at the mo could you find somewhere like your local leisure centre where you pay a pound to have the whole analysis like weight etc... I know over time it would add up but it might be cheaper at the mo? If your sis is a consultant can't she do you a WI once a week? :)

Had 2 good days in a row now so feeling good about this week. I had some Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream last night with my syns, it was very nice! We find in our house that serving things like that in a ramekin works better, we eat less that way because it looks full!
Breakfast couscous again, pasta and sauce for lunch and for my superfree I have a banana, an apple, a pear and 2 carrots to chomp through! Oh and some strawberries. We have an asian supermarket near us and the veggies and fruit are wonderful and much cheaper, I highly recommend it, if someone else said they were Sheffield way then it is Pak's supermarked on Wellgate in Rotherham, worth a trip! I also got some psyllium in a box, not tablets or anything, and am going to have a spoonful of that in water each day too to keep things moving ;)

Well done all, we're doing great!

    Hello everyone

Made the cottage pie last night with home made mince and it was gorgeous! I don't think I will be buying made mince again as this was a lot healthier and cheaper, going to try it with pork and lamb too.

Food for today will be -

    B - FF natural yog & strawbs
L - left over cottage pie followed by strawbs
T - Not sure yet as Friday is shopping day, will be something low or no syn then I can have some vino tonight. :j

S - 1.5 sugars so far and if I don't have anything else the rest will go on wine

Going to read back on other posts now and catch up.

RE: Scales - I bought some from Littlewoods online and they are Salter ones glass and chrome and cost £21.00, i gasped at the time but they are brill. Weigh by quarter pounds and very accurate, I can stand on one leg and lean back and they still stay the same no matter how hard I try and make myself weigh less :rotfl:
