a new fridge freezer has been ordered, thankfully just been paid but really the last thing i need! _pale_

dizzy, i recommend SW chilli to get things 'moving'... i had it for breakfast and a pre-lunch snack, don't think i can face it again for lunch or dins!

on what was discussed before, i think i'll always feel like a scotch egg! i used to be really overweight when i was younger, then lost it all when i was 13. up until i was 19/20, i was really slim then i met my OH. we thought nothing of drinking bottles of wine, eating take-outs and i'm a dab hand at making tray bake. it was only until last year, where i refused to have my picture taken that i had to take action. my sister was on SW and lost 4stone so decided it was for me. i don't think i really put my mind to it 100% and stopped going to meetings. now, at 24, i am ready to fully commit!

JUst found some SW chilli in the freezer that oh made (and he does em HOT so cross.gif )
My weight was up and down a bit when I was younger, but I slimmed down to 9st 7 (mmm thinking about it a lot of stress and a nasty divorce helped the weight drop off tho ;)) and was real happy at that in the couple of years run up to meeting my oh in 2006 then had the 1st Brain op and things went pear shaped....or rather I did :o then I had a 2nd Brain op in March and put a further 1 1/2 stone on (the stone and half that I managed to lose at SW just before I went back in hosp!) but hey ho....Im back...Iv just lost almost that same amount and Im back to the weight I was In a holiday pic from mexico last year that made me weep and say oh lord Ive gotta lose some weight.
Now I figure - If Ive no control over what happens to me walking wise in the future - at least I CAN do something about my weight, and Id much rather people think Im a thin drunken looking person staggering about than a fat one :rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah I cant bear the activias either taste wrong to me too. I like some of the mullers but not all of them. I do however love the onken ones but Im looking for an offer :D I dont have much, sometimes just a drop over the top of the fruit, love toffee muller with banana :D

Fromage frais is also an option? Its a bit thick for me with fruit but thats what they do in France I believe :D

I used to think that I hated fruit, never ate it at all.

Now ive been eating ( any enjoying!) bananas, pineapple, strawbs, blueberries, blackberries, mango kiwis, mandarins etc. Still cant bear grapefruit or melon though :D ( shame lots of cheap melon around at the mo) Soon it wil be blackberrying season and I cant wait to get out there and pick thousands for the freezer , should save me a fortune :D

Glad you are feeling better, my first couple of weeks were tough, but once I got my head around it, tried new foods and liked them I felt very comfy with it. Now if I eat any thing too greasy, makes me feel awfully sick :(

They do two big pots for £2 in Tesco, I just bought them this afternoon. Just away to feed the family and I am off for my first weigh in, I have butterflies, how stupid is that?

I will ask my consultant not to read it out.

I have been helping with the scales now for a few weeks, it is really satisfying to get to chat to people and encourage and congratulate them, I do want an employee discount though ;). I feel bad saying I don't want people to know I haven't lost much when I get to find out how much everyone weighs! Normally when someone has put on they have a good reason, and it is normally having a really good weekend! I guess we all need to get over our love hate relationship with food to be able to see it in the right way, no point ending up fearing it. I think I will be sticking to what you have all said about cutting out bread, though the bargain second hand kenwood chef I got last week is begging me to use it more! Anyone think of any slimming world kenwood chef recipes, I have a beater, a dough hook and a whisk along with the liquidiser!

Hope everyone has a lovely evening!

Evening all, been out most of the day so didn't even think about food [funny that]. Went with my mum to have our haircut, spent a good few hours putting the world to rights with Karen [fab hairdresser]. I must be at least a lb lighter as had loads cut off [really short now].

So today I have mostly been eating:

B/L - [forgot to have it til just b4 12 :o] weetabix milk [a coffee

T - HUGE 2 egg omelette with 3 big onions [love onions], cherry toms, 28g cheese [a], couple leftover new pots sliced, leftover spoonful pasta, spray oil [2], with large salad & spoonful beans, exlite s/cream [1] [completely stuffed now :p]

Snacks - 2 mints [2], pineapple, melon, muller [later if I can fit it in]

    Syns - 5

For the newbies here, this is my 2nd time around with sw after medication made me gain but both times I took the scenic route. In my 1st week [1st time] I lost 4.5lb and was soooooo chuffed but 2nd week gained 1.5lb as didn't eat ENOUGH . My point is I lost & gained along the way both times BUT I got to target. We all want an instant fix but thats not possible and anyway the scenic route is so much more fun than a diet so strict you're bound to give up.
So take the good [and theres a lot of it] with the bad and keep that positive spirit, you will get there in the end.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

well, ladies. the fairies are out to play round here. i bought myself a bottle of wine . hoping that i won't drink it all but i'm guessing i will as i've no work tomorrow (thankfully back on thursday) - been pretty damn good syn-wize since weigh in so just thought 'sod it' - i'll flexi today. so that's 24 syns in total. the wine's not going down so well typing that down...

  • Just thought I'd pop in to tell you that the Smash pizza was no where near as bad as I expected it to be....almost pizza like :D I had it with cajun wedges and a big heap of salad & I'm completely stuffed now!!

Today is the first day in a very, very long time that I have stuck to plan. Usually an extra piece of cheese slips into my mouth while grating it & things like that :o but today I have been 100%. Quite chuffed with myself!
