OK laydeez, have given myself a good kick up the bum (with your help of course) and feel much brighter!
Dizzy, I don't really like those activia yoghurts. They taste a bit "gritty" to me. I'll persist though. Not actually a really big yoghurt fan thanks to my mum force feeding me them when I was a kid. Even if they were out of date and tasted a bit fizzy she made me eat them so have avoided them. I'll stick to it though! No pain no gain :-)
As for whoever asked about the fruit, I've sent OH to the farm shop today and he's bought me a great big bag of goodies. Nectarines, strawberries, cherries, oranges, melon, grapes and some veg. £13 for a massive bag full of stuff. I'm hoping I can get through most of it with no problems. Om nom nom. It tastes so much better than supermarket stuff. Yay for fruit (and Yay for OH too)
You're all too fab for words. I really love you all for helping. I know we're all in the same boat really, I've just got to get my brain prepared even though my body is all up for the diet. I won't go into all my issues but let's just say I want to lose wieght at the same rate that I can gain it.
I'd better go. Got to marinade the chicken for tonight. Having peri peri kebabs with mushrooms and a tiny spot of extra light mayo. OH going all out and having pitta bread and a pepper with it.
Thank you all so much. I wish I can thank you more than once!! :-)Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0 -
a new fridge freezer has been ordered, thankfully just been paid but really the last thing i need! _pale_
dizzy, i recommend SW chilli to get things 'moving'... i had it for breakfast and a pre-lunch snack, don't think i can face it again for lunch or dins!
on what was discussed before, i think i'll always feel like a scotch egg! i used to be really overweight when i was younger, then lost it all when i was 13. up until i was 19/20, i was really slim then i met my OH. we thought nothing of drinking bottles of wine, eating take-outs and i'm a dab hand at making tray bake. it was only until last year, where i refused to have my picture taken that i had to take action. my sister was on SW and lost 4stone so decided it was for me. i don't think i really put my mind to it 100% and stopped going to meetings. now, at 24, i am ready to fully commit!"I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and... I believe in miracles."

My bro is getting married on September 24th and now I want to have lost half a stone by then (ideally would love a stone but that it half of what I want to lose in total so may be a little over optimistic!). I am so up and down that I haven't really lost anything since starting with this whole SW thing, it is just making up for the times I really overindulge! If I ask do you think my consultant will not say my total weight loss because it is stupid that people know I have been coming along for a while and haven't really lost anything. I know I shouldn't care but I do and whilst they don't say your weight I still think I don't want people to know...
So, had some breakfast couscous this morning and am having a diet coke now. I am determined now but the feeling wears off when I am confronted with popcorn or pastry!
Hope everyone else is doing well x
Sian, if you ask your consultant to not mention gains or losses when speaking in group about you, she will do as you wish. One girl at our group won't let the consultant say ANYTHING about her, so she just passes her by. They aren't out to embarrass you (or they shouldn't be).Btw, today's chicken kiev wasn't so bad, possibly because it was a day older and the flavours had amalgamated; possibly because my vegetables had a little "juice" with them that had also softened the chicken by the time I reheated and ate it. I can't decide if I'd do it again; if I do I may well SYN some real butter & use that!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Hi Ladies,
Just wondering if I can join your thread. I rejoined Slimming world 2 weeks ago and have been lurking ever since. I lost 1lb my first week and 1 1/2 my second week but that was fine as I have always lost very slowly to start with in the past but I'm derading my WI tonight. I had a wedding on Friday which was all sinned for and counted but I forgot about the hangover on the Saturday coupled with a return journey form Liverpool to Essex in one day.
Then my brother (in league with the fairies) invited the family round for a drink (my hangover had disappeared by this time) and over the two days I succeeded in demolishing a total of 126 sins . My DH howled laughing when I told him they were flexible and said they would have to be contortionists let alone flexible:).
But back on track 100% todayS/W -1, *-1.5, +1:o, -1/2, *-2, -2.5,0 -

Yeah I cant bear the activias either taste wrong to me too. I like some of the mullers but not all of them. I do however love the onken ones but Im looking for an offerI dont have much, sometimes just a drop over the top of the fruit, love toffee muller with banana
Fromage frais is also an option? Its a bit thick for me with fruit but thats what they do in France I believe
I used to think that I hated fruit, never ate it at all.
Now ive been eating ( any enjoying!) bananas, pineapple, strawbs, blueberries, blackberries, mango kiwis, mandarins etc. Still cant bear grapefruit or melon though( shame lots of cheap melon around at the mo) Soon it wil be blackberrying season and I cant wait to get out there and pick thousands for the freezer , should save me a fortune
Glad you are feeling better, my first couple of weeks were tough, but once I got my head around it, tried new foods and liked them I felt very comfy with it. Now if I eat any thing too greasy, makes me feel awfully sick:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
