my best losses are when I feel like I eat all day long

    Snap.. mine too.

I am planning to eat for England this week as I want a good loss... LOL how odd saying that being on a 'diet' :rotfl::rotfl:

yes lynz, i just don't think i can have lost weight eating that much !!
thanks mumoftwo good luck to you too.
and thanks dizzy for your reply i am reading every day and will post my WI each week but am simply too embarrassed to post what i eat (i graze all day long):o
so i will dip in and out to pick your brilliant brains if that's ok :)

I graze all day long too! My sister who is a consultant cant stop stuffing her face! But if shes eating free food, so what it works.

Eg she who eats more than I will have
egg bacon and mushroom sandwich for breakfast
    Fruit salad
    Coffee galore
Then peckish about 11 so has a pasta and sauce maybe or a HM veggie soup or a leftover from the night before ( eg stew or something) and some more fruit
then its lunch and maybe Jacket pot, beans, or veggie chilli or some such maybe another bit of fruit
Tea time, a slimming world curry packed with veg, unlimited rice etc
Snacking more fruit. Plus then its syn time so its crisps for her.

She is very slim now, 8/10 and tall with it ( the witch!) and looks bloody amazing. Thats whats inspired me to do SW. If she can still scoff all day long - and she really does- then so can I. And I do. And she text me to say i am doing very well, but I cant look better than her on her wedding day!!:D () my sister is ace and Id love it if she were round the corner from me as Id go to her group :D Otherwise I get her support and advice for free over the phone. Bless her.

Of course its possible Betty! COME ON NOW!!

You could just have salad and chicken tonight? Might be less synful? Or suggest going for a chinese instead :D 5 syns chicken in oyster sauce & rice :D

hope I can stick with it this time.

I keep thinking of it as though last time was a 'test' and it did work so now's time to do it properly.

    A fellow Scot! :)

I've got an evening WI and i'm funny about eating or drinking too much during the day. i know it's a bit silly but i've always done it. good luck for tonight!
And me too, although living in exile on the south coast. Just eating my porridge as I write.

Mummyof5 (respect!!) Don't worry about WI tomorrow, if you have been sticking to the plan you should be ok (but don't worry, not everyone gets big losses right away. If your body is not used to eating like this, it might be that it takes a little while to adjust) I sympathise with you on the binge eating, I had a bad day yesterday which involved Burger King and wine gums amongst other things. Stick with this forum, I find everyone really helpful and supportive. Let us know how you get on with WI then we can all cheer (or send hugs if it doesn't go as you hoped)

:o thanks for the kick up the butt lynz!

We're going for a Pizza Express or GBK i think. Or Strada. Not good either way.

Right well today has changed completely already as my friend has cancelled lunch - great opportunity to have something SW-friendly and lessen the badness of tonight's dinner. No hummus for lunch means I can have an EE day and have veg pasta for lunch followed by chicken salad for dinner in whichever restauarant we go to (dressing on the side!)

blimey you lot are good at motivating me! thanks! :D

    Hey BettyB.. we missed you.

The key to it is ....it will work if you REALLY WANT it to, I don't mean to sound harsh just speaking from my own experience.....

I went through years of wanting to lose weight but didn't really as I never did.. however that maybe because I was in a new country with no real friends :(. I still don't have any friends :D (we moved countries again) LOL.. but I found everyone here and it helps me soooo much. Now I find I REALLY want to do it and reading everyone's worries, difficulties and ideas relieves that feeling of being alone on this plan. I still have my blips and always will I think.

Being a size smaller for Christmas is totally doable and you WILL be able to do it with SW as it is sooo flexible as you know.

Please don't ever feel silly for trying something..... as per my favourite saying

If you do what you have always done... you will get what you've always got.

Thanks Trixie. I am feeling like i'm ready to do SW properly. I am going to buy the magazine for myself as a payday treat today.

I do feel a bit like maybe I am self sabotaging because i dont really want to lose weight. I think I'm scared my life might change if I lose weight. Realistically I know it will only change for the better, but I am quite a shy person deep down, even though my friends think of me as the loud confident one, and I often worry that the layer of fat is my shield (psychologically) that protects me and gives me the ability to be as confident as i seem as I can hide behind the layers as some sort of protection.

(that's what I get for doing a psyc degree and over analysing myself!)

I often feel like I am a scotch egg (strange analogy but bear with me!) - lovely healthy egg inside a layer of horrible fat. I want to be just the egg without the meat but the meat protects me.
