    hi Yoemma

Ive got a slow cooker but ive only ever used it for the fatty stewing steak ( plenty of visible fat)

When Ive used lean meat it has pretty much dissolved in there.

To be fair ive only ever done beef! What else could I use it for? ( i know i can do soups etc but they are quick in the pan anyway? )

    Ideas appreciated :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    lol

Personally If I was given a loaf Id either make OH eat it :D or freeze it to use as breadcrumbs for a SW kiev which I do fancy making ( cant remember who is making those, is it shaz?) or as a filling/ topping with stuffed flat mushrooms, minced garlic and quark  Love stuffed mushrooms havent had them in ages

This might also be a filling for those patty pans ( was it trixie? God im losing track of whos saying what lol)

no it wasnt me making the kievs but i dont mind giving it a go :T

Ive never quite understood or felt the need for a slow cooker (probably as like you say apart from beef I wouldnt know what else to do in it) and I always get the very lean stuff anyway which goes in my combi micro in reduced time

i don't have any specific slow cooker recipes but i hear that you can make soups, chilli, casseroles, stews, i'll post them up here once i've tried and if they're successful. everyone at my class raves on about them but thought i would jump on the slow cooker bandwagon. x

WI this morning [nearer lunchtime as kept putting it off after the week I've had IBS wise] BUT..........
lost 1lb AND............ am FINALLY at previous target banana%20dancer.gifbanana%20dancer.gifbanana%20dancer.gif

Hard part is now staying there :D

Susan hate to say this but I have a pair of skinny jeans [even say skinny in the back of them]. I bought them last time I was this weight and they got too small. NOW the damn things are too BIG but I wear them anyway, was sooooooo chuffed when I got into them again though.

Turbo I'll come round and help motivate you, I'm up the road in Norwich :rotfl:

Good luck everyone you too WILL get to target, if I can do it [twice] you can do it too [or else :p].

Joking aside I took the scenic route both times and I'm not saying it was a breeze but if you have the motivation and are determined, it will happen, and we're all behind you [probably eating the crumbs you drop :rotfl:]. I will be staying right here to keep me on track.

well done, you're an inspiration to us all!! xx
