i meant to ask if i would be able to use the bread as a HEb to cut the syns down?

I think the only one you can do that with is the Tesco Wholemeal crusty bread mix...

Im glad someone else chipped in....I wasnt too sure with that I dont eat a lot of bread......well I'l rephrase that, I cant stop eating it once I start so I try not to have it often (or think about it :o) Is there a big difference then with the bread mixes between the supermarkets?

There must be. I guess it depends on the suppliers they use.

There def was a difference with the wholemeal pitta breads. Before they were discontinued the only wholemeal pittas you could have was the asda ones...

I know there was a girl on the minimins site who sent SW the nutritional info for the Tesco w/m crusty bread mix and they said that it was ok to use as a heb. Apparently 75g of the mix makes 113g of base which = 2hebs....

Im going off the tesco pizza base mix one that seemed to be 5.5 syns on the whole thing but we do make ours with plain flour ( less doughy and heavy, goes crispier, and you can have less - ie thinner without it falling apart.

Im having a third so will call it 3 syns plus 2 for the tiny grating of cheese I have on it ( half fat mozz) I cant bear cheese really apart from cottage cheese but that is quite rubbish on pizzas lol

Everything else on the top is free but I will try and get hold of the Wholemeal crusty bread mix from tescos so I can be clearer. Ill prob only eat half on the serving as I cant tolerate bread/flour any more. Im only having it as OH is making me :D

Thats worth remembering then;) I didnt eat any bread for 8 week. My oh was buying white sliced or uncut so I def couldnt eat that (git:mad:) but at group on thurs I won the 50p raffle and it was a bag full of HEB stuff, porrige,Hifi bars,Rivita.....and a loaf eat.gif so it would be rude not to make the most of my 50p bargain :T

    lol

Im not eating bread at all to be honest, aside from the odd brown roll with a burger, I usually only eat half of it anyway. It just makes me feel so BAD. Knackered, Tired grumpy

Personally If I was given a loaf Id either make OH eat it :D or freeze it to use as breadcrumbs for a SW kiev which I do fancy making ( cant remember who is making those, is it shaz?) or as a filling/ topping with stuffed flat mushrooms, minced garlic and quark  Love stuffed mushrooms havent had them in ages

This might also be a filling for those patty pans ( was it trixie? God im losing track of whos saying what lol)

yup was trixie with her 'panty pads' :D
ive only had the bread on 2 days as an overfilled cottage cheese salad sandwich (which I ate with a knife&fork it was so stuffed with veggie items) but my stomachs so noticably bloated now (even tho its fat to start:o) Its just bigger than it was so I think the oh will be having the rest toasted.

hi ladies! need to catch up on all your posts but i though i'd write to say i bought a slow cooker today!! i am so excited to get it cracked out tomorrow!! i can't believe it's taken me so long. :) i also got a slim band (i think that's the name of it) from tesco for £2, it's one of those contraptions that you either push together to work on bingo wings and chest or you can put between your thighs to work on them. a good wee bargain to use between gym classes. can't see it on tesco direct to link, but worth a look if you fancy a bit of body magic in front of the telly. x
