Spam reported! Fancy upsetting our little party!
Just discovered why I don't feel well today. I forgot to take my meds last night so am a bit drained, lousy headache, not in a good mood so OH is cooking Niandra's curry. Just done the onion bhajis and they're great so thank you for that Niandra.
Food for today
Breakfast- nothing, didn't feel up to it.
Lunch- Tried cous cous, threw it in the bin. Tried a chicken mug shot which also went in the bin. Ended up with a couple of bhajis.
Tea- Chicken madras and rice.
Still haven't got my head round everything but just about to sit and read through all the books I got last night to see if I can understand things a little better. Not functioning properly so really not holding out much hope :-(
Screamer, plain cous cous is pretty tasteless and boring, I have to add stock powder, some onion granules, pepper, some chilli to it to make it even taste like anything. Mugshots are vile, I agree. You will get the hang of it, I am new this week too but have been reading the threads and making notes
I takes a bit of time to know what you like and how the plan works for you.
i.e:I already know that I wouldn't like nimble bread, WW bread and such fluffy breads, because I am used to home made or Granary wholemeal, I don't like frylight either, or mugshots, or ready made pasta packets. But I had to find that out trying them or reading the labels.
Good luck hun0 -

The NFU has a recipe competition which is closing midnight tomorrow to win £300 farmstay holiday vouchers.
All you need to do is design a recipe that includes at least 5 Red Tractor ingredients (British foods). Perhaps you have a family favourite, or a recipe that your kids love, something that can be substituted with seasonal foods throughout the year, or a tasty starter, desert or breakfast dish. It really is up to you!
The winning recipe will also feature on Red Tractor website
Visit NFU's campaign site whyfarmingmatters.co.uk and click on news section for competition details and good luck!

Well dones on the losses peeps :T:T:T
DOn't think its cheating to 'help' things along, I have IBS and have laxative powders on prescription as its murder when 'stuffed' up. When the usual foods don't help move things I have to resort to the powders so don't beat yourself up about it.
Re the lasagne recipe, hubby is making this as I type [love him] Did a mad dash to Mr Ts for some fromage as couldn't find it on asdas website. Also got some quorn mince for me [they're having full fat mince]. I could only get a massive pot of fromage and you get a load of quark for your money so my question is 'how much do I use for 300g quorn mince'? I suppose its add and see. I will be making the cheese sauce now so will let you know how it goes.
Not eaten much today or drunk much either, haven't felt like it. Must be saving myself for the lasagne :rotfl:. Hubby has also made a flatbread from the hairy bikers book, as I haven't had any syns yet I'm hoping to sample it with tea .
Good luck all :beer:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
