Do you like spicy raita Kath? I make my own, completely made up recipe with inspiration from something Asda used to sell.

About 150ml of fat free plain yoghurt
    quarter teaspoon chilli powder
    quarter teaspoon paprika
a small amount of ground cumin
finely chopped chilli (just the end pointy bit, don't need much)

Bob's your uncle. It's lovely and we can't/won't have curry without it :-)

Niandra, have just looked at your recipe and of course it's the recipe for beef. I'll be using chicken. Do I still need beef stock for this or is chicken stock the best? Totally lost :-)

Although, if using less yoghurt, use less spices. It could be painful otherwise!!

Thanks for your raita recipe Screamer I will copy and paste and add it to my 'list of things to make', i do love hot food and not tried a spicy raita yet :j

I would use chicken stock myself, you willl need to cook it less too, probably about half an hour once you have added the liquid or until the chicken is cooked through. Also I wouldn't put the lid on the pan then the sauce will cook down and thicken a bit
    Hope you like it :)

Edited to add - If you think the curry is too hot or prefer it creamy you could add some of the FF Nat yog just before serving

I had my WI last night and was very disappointed with a measly 0.5lbs loss
So now I am pinning my hopes on sooper dooper loss next week.

Look at my avatar, that's half a pound of fat, it's a good handful, so losing that is better than nothing! And I assume you mean you are pinning your hopes on a sooper POOPER loss next week? :)

Spam reported! Fancy upsetting our little party!

Just discovered why I don't feel well today. I forgot to take my meds last night so am a bit drained, lousy headache, not in a good mood so OH is cooking Niandra's curry. Just done the onion bhajis and they're great so thank you for that Niandra.

    Food for today

Breakfast- nothing, didn't feel up to it.
Lunch- Tried cous cous, threw it in the bin. Tried a chicken mug shot which also went in the bin. Ended up with a couple of bhajis.
    Tea- Chicken madras and rice.

Still haven't got my head round everything but just about to sit and read through all the books I got last night to see if I can understand things a little better. Not functioning properly so really not holding out much hope :-(
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)
