do you hae a recipe for your raita ???......do you want a lodger LOL:rotfl:

Not a recipe as such, i normally measure things by eye and make up as I go along but this is what i do...
Chop (about half) cucumber quite finely or grate and put in a sieve with some salt and leave for half an hour to draw out the water. Dry on kitchen roll and mix in a bowl with VLF natural yogurt (again i don't know the quantity just keep adding and tasting) and finely chopped spring onion, i have also used normal onion grated, then add fresh mint or corriander finely chopped
I probably need a lodger with the amount of food I make, never been good with portion control! :o
    SW started 28.06.10 - 4, -7.5, -1.5, -2.5, -1, -1and 1/4, -3, +3.5, -2.5

Whilst I remember, don;t know if this has been mentioned before but if any of you have costco membership they have a catering pack of the AH couscous - for about £6-8. It some with a little scopp for measuring out indivdual portions and I vaguely remember it having 50 portions in (but I'm at work now so I can't actually check that until I get home)

Well I had my blowout yesterday - enjoyed it immensely, an am back on the wagon this morning.

I double checked that AH couscous - it's the Spice Sensation one and has 30 portions in so still very good value for money.

Will post my food diary when I get home as I have no idea what to have for tea at present - I'm thinking probably quorn bolognaise.

I'm having an EE day because I was a tad hungover this morning and needed the reviving power of a bacon butty. I tried to stay as close to plan as poss so all fat removed and was in a wholemeal breadcake (don't suppose that would count as a HEB would it?)

Also had some grapes, a weetabix bar to maintain sugar levels (3.5 syns) and am now on to a lunch of AH couscous with tomato and onion salad, followed by pineapple.

Mid afternoon snack will be a banana and I'm planning to go the gym on the way home from work (headache permitting). I was good and walked into work today (2 miles) though so maybe it wouldn't be too much of a disaster if I didn't go to the gym
