:) Morning ladies (and gents )

Woah you have all been so busy, just about managed to catch up!!

Well I made the Puttanesca pasta bake last night which was lovely, changed it quite a bit from the SWmag recipe as there was nowhere near enough superfree in to me, (only superfree was broccoli and tinned toms??) Anyhow I adapted it and added peppers mushrooms onions garlic chilli and courgette and it was very nice. I also added 16 olives (served 3) so counted this as 1 syn. Also had a small (175ml) glass of vino with it which took my total syns to 10.5.

    Meal plan for today is...

    b - Shape 0 yog & rasberries
l - Salad with loads of veggies and FF pineapple cottage cheese, strawbs and cherries for after
t - Some kind of greek thing, was thinking of making some Souvlaki kebabs and lamb and mint kebab things served with tzatsiki pot wedges and salad for me and pot wedges and wraps for OH.
Snacks - Watermelon, banana & Fibre plus (Heb)

No syns involved in the meal plan so far, will prob use my Hea for some feta for the salad and the syns for Friday wine night yipeeeee!!!
I normally keep my syns as low as possible during the week then I can have some treats at weekend (usually wine!) As of this morning i had 81 left to last until Monday morning, i doubt I will use all of them but they are there if I need to. Probably not recommended by SW to do it this way but it works well for me and I am still loosing, if it starts to have adverse effects I will need to re-think the idea

What is going to to hinder you hun? anything we might be able to put our heads together with and find an answer?

the ainsley cous cous is the nicest to try I reckon too....but Ive not tried too many others lol, I just know Ive not thrown up on his :D:rotfl:
also if you look on the SW site there are some pretty nice syn free chicken curry recipe that you could try til you get the book off me?

Will look for a recipe shortly, going to do the chicken madras that Niandra posted tonight :-)

As for my little problem, I'm constipated :embarasse I hope you all don't think I'm cheating by getting some laxatives. I've been prescribed them before and know when it's time to do something when the cramps start creeping into my legs. I thought the curry would help the other day but no, that would be just too easy!

So ladies, please don't think I'm cheating. I feel bad about doing it (my friend was addicted and eventually became anorexic) but I've got to do something. Might explain why I've put a lot of weight on since the weekend though, I'm not getting rid of anything I'm taking in!

    God, that's embarrassing!!!!
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

Its not cheating at all -constipation is sooooo painful.
I know its no use now -but if you can get hold of some fresh apricots and have a couple a day-it should make things easier ;)
Well done on the loss Susan :j

Also I have a lot of weight to lose - about 5/6 stone - and sometimes feel I'm wasting my time and just resign myself to being overweight as I have tried so many times and failed.

    Hi Diane105,

I started SW over 4 weeks ago and need to lose around 6/7 stone, i can totally relate to resigning youself to being overweight as thats what I felt like, the thought of how long it was going to take was so scary (and still is a little if I am honest)
But after 4 weeks I lost 1stone, 1 and 3/4 lbs even with a couple of little tumbles off the wagon. I must say I feel so much better in myself even just after 4 weeks my skin feels better and i just feel happier that I am doing something about it. At the moment I can honestly say I feel like I have made a total lifestyle change rather than just being on a diet, I can see myself eating like this all the time as it is sooo much easier than anything I have tried before, just takes a bit of time to get your head around. Good luck :)

    Hi Screamer,

I had this problem when I first started, think it was my body adjusting to the new plan. I find if I miss my HeB the day before that makes it difficult for me to 'go' but I normally have a fibre plus bar in the evening and that makes movements more normal. Also some boiled water with lemon in (add sweetner if you want) works miracles for me!!

1st time I joined & when I came back to group after my op..... It was 2 week before 'I went' !!!! honest they were killing themselves laughing, but Ive always been a bit irregular in that department. Dont worry hun.....once you start with ur HEB a day and all that ffruit you'l get in a bit more of a rythm....tho I can stil be 2 or 3 days even now :rotfl:

i find that if i have a large glass of water or squash with any fibre im having all is well, half my problem in the past with losing weight (or not!) was not drinking enough, tea is fine but when you are increasing your fibre it just isnt enough so 2 or 3 glasses of water plus my usual 6 or so cup of tea a day are working just fine
