The thing about SW according to the consultant at our group is....the more you eat (especially superfree fruit/veggies)the better the plan works....so go for it :D you should never ever be hungry on this plan, if you are hungy then grab something thats free, some cous cous salad or whatever else takes your fancy.....theres lots of lovely tips and yummy recipes that people post on here :) x p.s just looked at ypur menu why dont u save some syns and use frylight to cook with???;)

I have tried frylight before on WW and I absolutely hate it. I use rapeseed oil for all the family to stir fry with as it is rich in Omega 3,6 and 9 and I don't mind using some syns for it and we need some good fats in our diets.

hI, I get around the "vile frylight" dilemma by mixing half olive oil (u cd use rapeseed) and half water in a spray bottle, saves having to use syns and you still get an idea of the taste in the food. I "fry" onions and garlic in the m'wave using a little sweetener, a splosh of water or stock, and a spray of my fake yummy frylight and do them on medium for four or five mins until melted down and beginning to brown. I didn't believe it would taste good but it does! Then add the rest of the food, or add more stock/tomatoes to cook down into a rich sauce.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Hello ladies, how are things today??

Shopping day today (when I can be bothered to get dressed that is :-) and frylight, cous cous and quark are on my list. I have never tried any of these but have googled them to see what they are and I'm prepared to give them a go.

Not got much to say other than good luck. Am a little preoccupied right now because I've discovered yet another problem which is going to hinder my weight loss. I'm just figuring out ways to put it right.

My love to you all, especially Dizzy coz she's awesome :-)

BTW Dizzy, enjoy the Hi Life :-)
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

    Good morning everyone :D

Thats a great idea blackberry, i also cant stand frylight and was wondering if there was another way without having to use syns, i have one of the pampered chef oil sprays so if i put some water in too im sure it would work better than frylight :T

Im struggling this week to think of ideas for dinner:cool:, i cant go shopping because we are going away next week and i dont want to get too much in so im trying to use what i already have, the kids never tell me their plans till 1/2 hour before i start cooking but generally 1 of them will be out and i dont want to waste stuff when there are not enough of us (hubby is away otherwise he would just eat what they dont)

Does anyone have any simple ideas, mainly for green days, that a 4yr old is likely to eat (the only one who HAS to have dinner at home:D)

jacket spuds and beans with homemade coleslaw is my quick fave you can always do some quorn sausage with it too or a quorn or normal chilli or spag bol and freeze some....then use the rest to make up a a lasagne for another meal
