I went down by 2 lb this week too (one pound really as I put a pound ON last week!). Still, I've worked out I have 2.5 lbs to go to target, hopefully in a couple of weeks. Then I shall give myself a break (free classes!) until 13th Sept when I shall set a new target one stone lower, and that will take me up to Christmas at an average of one pound per week :)

    :T:j:j
Hey thats great, what a result! and what a fab Xmas pressie that will be - to be yet another stone lighter ;)

    Morning Ladies :)
Reporting in with a 4lb loss this week, taking me to my 1 1/2 stone :D .... I managed to keep my sins down to 10 a day (except monday when I had chippy chips, curry and rice) so I'm rather pleased.
I have got tonsilitis as well though so eating is proving to be a bit of a struggle at the mo. Still you have to try :)
    Onwards and upwards.

I have rejoined SW for the I don't know how many'th time as I have finally gotten to the point again where I have simply had enough of being this fat. It's always worked for me in the past but I've always put the weight back on afterwards (and more...it's so bad at the moment that I asked not to know my weight and they just put it in the book instead. I've managed to avoid looking so far!!) A number of things have sparked it this time: having only one pair of work trousers that actually fit and having to wash them a couple of times every week, always wearing a cardigan no matter what the weather in order to try to hide my back fat and general Michelin tyre, getting on a plane and having to extend the belt about as far as it went to be able to do it up whilst also feeling my thighs squishing out either side of the seat, not wanting to have photos taken (I can count on one hand the number of photos of me and my 20 month son I have), the flap of fat that is my stomach (graphic I'm sorry!) and the thought of getting pregnant again whilst this overweight. I've come on here to try and finda new way to keep my motivation going when I feel it flagging and to be able to celebrate other people's successes and have mine equally celebrated. I hope to get to know you all soon and hope to share good news next Tuesday after my first weigh in!!

Welcome :hello: I too had told myself over the past 3 years I need to lose weight and I have half heartedly tried but just got steadily bigger. I had a lightbulb moment at the end of May joined all these lovely people here who have been sooooo helpful and inspiring and they will to you too.

If you keep reading the posts, keep posting your questions and progress and it will keep you focused and give you lots of inspiration for new foods to try to keep the boredom at bay. It has helped me no end as I don't go to a class.

Good luck and once again welcome xx

You can do it!! You should see my huge tummy...but it is shrinking thanks to SW!

If I were you I would copy this and keep it in your handbag or somewhere..I have my skinny reasons on the fridge.

Its great when you have lost a stone and feel better about yourself, to have the reasons why you joined to look back on to keep you going.
