Hello and welcome to yet another shiny new thread for all followers of Slimming World.
The Original and Green plans are still going strong but most people may well have heard of the new Extra Easy plan which is sweeping through the land
If you've ever wondered if it works, I promise you it does. If you've ever wondered how it works - well the science confuses me, but I would just say to trust the experts at SW, they wouldn't send you on the wrong path.
If you fancy having a go at it, here are the official 'rules' to ensure that you not only lose weight regularly but get all the nutrition your body needs to function well:-
Extra Easy:
1: Choose your Free Food
Anything that’s Free Food on Green OR Original – so that’s pasta, rice, potatoes, lean meat, poultry, fish and all the Superfree food – is totally Free on Extra Easy! Yes, you can eat unlimited meat, potatoes and veg, fish, chips and mushy peas, and chicken curry and rice with no measuring, no weighing, no counting – no kidding!
And for super-fast, super healthy results, fill one third of your plate with Superfree Food!
2: Choose your Healthy Extras
Each day select one Healthy Extra ‘a’ choice and one Healthy Extra ‘b’ choice from our simplified list of calcium and fibre-filled foods, including milk, cheese, bread and cereal.
3: Enjoy 5-15 Syns each day
And if the Syn values for Green and Original foods are different on the standard Syns lists, count the lower one!
If you find your weight loss has slowed down or stopped, check………
1.Whether everything you're counting as Free, is Free
2.Whether you're under-estimating Syn values (over-estimate if guessing)
3.Whether you're counting everything that should be counted
4.Whether you're measuring everything that should be measured
5.Whether you're sabotaging your success in any other way (using SAS logs will help uncover individual long-term self-sabotage patterns) and, if none of these is the culprit, either...........
A: increase the proportion of Superfree Foods to half of your plate
OR
B: switch to more Speed Foods
And above all, if you follow the plan, any plan, 100% you will lose weight!

Consultant 31 ~ I love that you put "if you follow the plan, any plan, 100% you will loose weight" - I need to keep reminding myself that I can reach my goal if only I follow the rules!!
I've got a funny old weekend coming up, all over the place and no food planned (well, we are probably eating out tonight so I shall order steak and salad).
Starting the day with some fruit, yoghurt and a little bit of toast.

oooh I love a new thread and as a long time lurker I felt the need to post:pI do my SW from home as I use it as a maintenance diet after losing the bulk of my excess flab by low carbing.This week has been a difficult one for me as its been * week and I've been feeling bloated and yuck all week,this morning I weighed in and I've lost 4lbs!!! Chuffed to little bobbers with that and I havent been that good a girl eating wise this week either.Anyone who says they cant lose weight easily on this eating plan is crazy cos its so easy to live with.I also love the support on this and previous threads as it can be quite daunting changing your eating habits and reading the posts on previous threads has been so educational for me.Thanks Girls

I'm loving my new scales
They weigh in 1/4 pound increments and also tell me the amount of body fat I have - over 3 stone :eek: I've only got about another stone to lose so don't quite know how that works!!
Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -

EE for me:
B- scrambled egg, toast (B), coffee, milk (A)
L- Homemade jalepeno humous, x3 crackerbread(3) salad
D- Chicken, veg & syn free curry sauce, rice
S- Fruit & yoghurt
Got an exercise dvd from library yesterday so might give that a go later.

morning,am basck on the wagon after a week of piggyitis:D.got all the books,got the extra e4asy book last week so motivated.lost almost 2 stone on s.fast for first stone then went on slimming world red/green.put weight back on at first after the s.fast but bound to.i love the fact you can eat loads of fruit without counting it,is it really unlimited though?
what about pasta,rice etc.is it unlimited when you say free? i dont know when to stop with pasta.i make sauce from scratch so its healthy.i have it for my meal but i always want more later when its cold.Shine on you crazy diamond..............0 -

Does anyone know how many syns in a Galaxy ripple? Think they're less than 10 but can't find them on website... know it's in the book but mines at home0

Book says 33g bar 9 syns
17g snack 4.5 syns
HTHIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
