As a hate or as a like?

Perhaps when you do have time: write down

    What she likes
    What she hates
What she says when she won't eat something
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

The things I listed were all the tings she likes.

No point writing out a 'hate' list...the like list is the only things she'll eat.

She says 'NO  I DON'T LIKE IT  - I NOT EAT IT - *CHOKE*'

    Ok - you win!

Do you ever ask her why she doesn't like something?

All the foods in the world - like does not = hate

There will be foods that she eats
There will be foods that she has not tried
There will be foods that she won't eat

I think you are fixated on this and need to take a step back personally.....you seem a bit  at me for trying to help so I'll leave you be then.

    house of tiny tearaways episodes

That is the name. Try those episodes. Was a brilliant programme for families whose children were anything but little angels:A

She's a really well behaved kid, she'll stand beside me in the supermarket, put stuff in the trolley, help pack the bags etc and she goes to bed when she's told, is nice to her little bro (98% of the time) - my DS' peadiatrician told me that she's a real pleasure to be around :o - she's only a monster at meal times

Will look out for that series, it might help the food issues :D

And therein lies the problem - she has a stick and she will beat you with it.

It's not so much me she's beating with the stick, it's her dad :p

Dad doesn't always make things easy either, he doesn't understand why she is the way that she is and it's led to arguements between us (no around her obviously!) but I feel I have to change things for both their sakes :o

Not sure I'm the right person to recommend, given that I'm still recovering from issues with food, but the following blog is one I follow and which has helped, even though it is aimed primarily at families with children:

    Family Feeding Dynamics

Apologies if already posted - I haven't gone through the whole thread.

    Personal pronouns are they/them/their, please.

I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.

I'm sure it has already been said, but I would simply stop this nonsense right now. Cook a family meal. Sit down at the table as a family to eat. If your daughter refuses to eat it, stay calm and don't enter into a dialogue about it. Ignore her and any tantrums. At the end of the meal, tell her that there will be no more food for her until the next meal. Then, if she continues to refuse to eat it throw it in the bin and stick to your word. No more food until the next meal. You really need to take control back. She won't starve.
She licks the gravy off the sausage and leaves the sausage on her plate...she won't eat them both together!

Why are you permitting such disgusting behaviour at the table? Teach her to how to use cutlery and eat nicely - no fingers and no licking food!
