Same old whinge over savings rates, seems some think they are deemed a massive return.

Probably an STR who had planned to pay the rent with interest on the proceeds whilst awaiting that 70% crash (only surmising thoughicon7.gif).

Seems orpho is just being anal,as his savings interest aint paying his rent, the flipside as a mortgage holder its nice to pay a low rate and not subsidise savings account holders.

You're lovely, aren't you? Probably heavily indebted mortgagee terrified that interest rates will rise and you will no longer be able to pay your mortgage on your negative equity luxury newbuild. When I know absolutely nothing about a person, I can spout lazy vitriol instead of reasoned argument too.

Orpheo's income is paying his rent nicely.

How, in the name of reason, do borrowers subsidise anything except their masters? Or have you just descended into baiting?

Mortqage = £300 approx, unfortunately mortgage rate BR+ .95%, I should really extend my mortgage but I can't be bothered, anyway I would prefer to leave those funds for the people who need it. Thanks for your concern anyway icon7.gif
It seems my analysis is better then yours.

It wasn't concern, it was lazy vitriol; you need to improve your reading comprehension. I don't wish difficulty upon you, I was merely pointing out that you were speculating on my personal finances. If your mortgage is manageable for you then I congratulate you. I will thank you, however, for providing personal anecdotal evidence in support of the arguments that I have been making in this thread.

It must be hard to swallow about your're savings loss, for me i'm £400 per month better off,or should that be overpaying.

To be fair I did qualify it with
    only surmising though
