Argh! so the 2lb I 'gained' yesterday is gone today! (flippin totm!!)
:rotfl:
Too late for the chart so I'll 'save' it for next week!
Cheers for doing the chart Fred. I'd like to jump back on the 5lb challenge for Sept and hopefully actually achieve it this time!!:oBetty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....
Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -
Thanks as always for the chart fred
and please sign me up for the september challenge, it's really kicked me rear into gear having a challenge. Although my 2 weeks of no/very little exercise is catching up with me now. Back to the docs today to see if I can go back to work or not (which I doubt). Went for a walk round the shops in a nearby town yesterday, all level shopping centre, no uneven ground, just walking and my knee ballooned up last night, so don't think 8 miles on uneven ground with a 16kg bag on my back is gonna work.
Talking about teenagers (ok I know your lad is still only 10 Vic) but I remember when I was younger my brother didn't eat much at all most ofthe time and then every so often when he was having a "growing spurt", for a week or so at a time he would eat vast quantities of food:like a couple of kilos of pasta maybe with another kilo of cheese melted onto the top of it, and he would polish that lot off within an hour or two and still be hungry..
That is my DS through and through. Not a fickle eater most of the time, a healthy appetite is what i would call him, but just before he has a growth spurt, it's like a big bang and he turns into a kid with a monster appetite. Embarrassed me one day by visiting the carvery twice for a top of potatoes and veg while the rest of us were still eating our first plateful. Then u can actually see the difference in him, it's like he shoots up overnight. Didn't have that with my DD, she just seemed to grow naturally :rotfl:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

It's because boys and girls are different. Boys DO have this 'growth spurt' - their bones grow in length, their muscles grow, everything, and obviously, they need food!Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

Well done Rosie!!!
So much for my doctors appointment today, just looked at the card and it says Thurs 27th August. So I go up to surgery to find that it's actually for tomorrow, numpties!!!!! Dunno who's the biggest numpty tbh, them for writing the card or me for not noticing!!! Can't get boss on phone to let him know I won't be in tomorrow either until I get the all clear from doc. Oh well, his problem.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Just realised that even with being on leave for three weeks I haven't had a chocolate bar this month and only had chocolate based products twice. Really want to try the milky bar fruit and nut but keep talking myself out of it.0
