Good on ya Mazza! Hate the way drunk men think it's ok to approach lone women, maybe they don't realise how intimidating they are but it's not on. Lovely to hear you did something to help. Not enough people do that.

mazza:j:j:j:j:j I am ashamed to say the other day I saw two kids around 10/11 fighting, I just stood and watched them working out whether it was a play fight and they knew each other or an actual fight and one of them was in trouble, the more I stared at them the more they seemed to fight, in the end it turned out they knew each other and it was all in fun but jeez I was useless:rotfl:

No trouble at work yesterday, I am beginning to miss it not being told off:rotfl::rotfl:

I have 2 more modules to hand in which hopefully will be before I go next saturday on my hols:D

TOTM has arrived and it is all peaceful and calm around here, wedded bliss and perfect motherhood has been restored and everyone is so grateful for the little things in life, like their mother not acting like a lunatic monster:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

In Spain they do not sell coleslaw or they do but it is a very strange mayonnaise filled version of the UK one, fromage frais they do but a different very sharp version, greek fat yog and hummous, so was thinking of taking them over with me (I take WW meals, crackers, sugar free jelly, snack a jacks, etc) but how to get them over there in a suitcase without them splitting and going over all the clothes and causing a disaster?

So one of them has gone home with my fake thumb nail stuck somewhere in his face along with some sharp words about nailing his privates to the floor if he didn't get out my face

You have GOT to tell us how that happened!! :rotfl:Good on you for helping the lass out - must have been the beer talking! :D

I am going to have to start being creative about excersing at home and possible jogging in the street (in the middle of the day when it's quiet , coz no one wants to see me jiggling along the road!)

BettyB I do 90% of my running off road out on the trails/fields/footpaths etc, I've been known to go 2-3 hours without seeing a single other person! I just love the solitude and traffic-free environment myself - but it might also be an idea if you're feeling a bit self conscious to start with? Good luck with it whatever you do! :D

thanks Missy - unfortunately I am in the middle of London so there aren't many fields/trails, the roads are chockablock to the point of causing noticable air pollution and the big parks are always full of people! (oh, and builders..everywhere!!)I think I will just have to brave it - stick to the side streets and the quiet roads and hope no one's looking out their windows! :rotfl:

mazza well done for resisting that full english!
i dont care much for all the sausage, fried and bacon stuff that you typically get, it's fried bread covered in baked beans that i cant resist and the fried bread is undoubtedly the most unhealthy thing on the plate :-(

bettyb... i suggest you become muslim and wear a burka to go jogging round loindon for added anonymity! (at least while they're still legal to wear in the uk lol) ...cant imagine life without lots of fields though :-)

Ah :o, sorry for my totally useless suggestion then! :rotfl:

Definitely 'brave it' anyway... I'm sure everyone in London sees joggers every day of the week :D. You can always pop your shades on so people can't make eye contact. Let us know how it goes!

Got my monthly weigh in tomorrow, it wasn't looking good a couple of weeks ago but now I'm really hoping for a STS. The next one will be after my holiday and that's BOUND to be a 'healthy' gain! :p

Have a great weekend everyone! :j

Puddings, i feel rather proud too, but when u said about me resisting full english, I thought it was the eloquent way i dealt with the plebs on the train u meant, my english was a bit fuller than i posted on here :rotfl:

Hezza when I told them they were making the lass feel uncomfortable, he tried to cuddle me and apologise, so an instinctive thing was to put my hand between us, the nails just got in the way. I did also tell him off for breaking one of my prettyful nails :rotfl:

Been rather good today, had my weetabix for breakfast, and a lovely chicken salad from Ikea for lunch. Topped up with lots n lots of coffee, with just a splash of skinny milk. Have no idea what we'll have for dinner, won't be anything healthy, probably something out the freezer, but have done well to resist the snacks/lurpak :T
