ajax is on facebook. Pet was nice, i always remember her being nedal mad!!

For once i dont have anything much to say, although matt and i have reached an agreement that im going to move back to my mums and were going to kinda carry on as we are and date again. How this will work will involve waiting for that bridge to come along when we get to it, but im just happy were not in a limbo situation.

So im off out tonight with my girles for a korma. Happy days!

Just a 0.5LB LOSS for me, although I wasn't even expecting that after Saturday's hangover so not complaining. Haven't drunk or eaten rubbish this week and am out to a gig tomorrow but contemplating driving so I can't drink.

    Ninth Anniversary
STS for me this week, haven't done as much exercise as I would have liked too this week so its no great shock, plus haven't really had the motivation. Upping the ante for next week and hopefully will see a loss.
  • Hi everyone

I had a great week off work despite the rain but 3 days back and I feel like I never had a break :(
But I am happily reporting a 2lb Loss Thanks Fred :T

I have managed to talk a friends son into lending me his Kayak (he agreed about an hour ago) so I am really looking forward to getting out on that and doing some different exercise :j

I was happy to hear that Polkadot is pregnant I remember her from last year. She was always very nice and always had tonnes of good advice.

Brightonbelle - Glad the meds are working for you

Hezza - Are you planning on going for a ride on the Tarka trail? I would recommend it if you get time (and if the weather cheers up ;)) http://www.devon.gov.uk/tarkatrail I hope you have a good Holiday, Sorry about the job front

Betty - Sorry about your falling off the wagon again...... can I suggest a seat belt ? :rotfl::rotfl: No really as beanielou says keep plodding :D

My stomach so utterly tempts me to revert back to the all in one but no will not do it to myself, it has to be a bikini or tankini or a bikini and cover up or a bikini and a t-shirt (so that the sun does not get on the shoulders:D) oh the hell we go through:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

But you know, there are some men out there who like larger ladies.

Been good today, not eaten much fattening stuff, but totm approaches, so that along with the bread and cakes, I'm expecting to be facing a gain this week.

Never mind, next week I can start again :rotfl:

I know there are men out there that like a bit of meat on their ladies, something to grab onto, but dont think ive actually met any of them yet! lol Its more my confidence than my weight that is stopping me getting on the dating scene, though my weight is what has affected my confidence in the first place, mmm what a pickle! :rotfl:

Glad i'm not the only one who reaches for the carbs as menstrual munchies - thats a total danger time for me when i first start a diet as the munchies seem to continue on to the next month, and then the next, and so on until i decide to start losing weight again! x

I know I keep dipping in and out of this thread, but having read about 2 other ladies who turn 30 next year it made me think. I also turn 30 next July and I dont want to do it looking like I do so I think its time to make the big change. I think I'm scared of starting in case I fail. I also think I need to get a plan like WW or SW as if I just try and cut down on my own it really isnt going to work.

I also know that a lot of my calories come from the dreaded alcohol so I've got to think of a way of changing that as well.

Yay! welcome! I'm so glad i'm not on this journey alone. Dont be scared of failing, just focus on how amazing it will feel if you succeed at your goal.

I'd really reccommend the WW online plan, i've only been doing it for a few days but it is so easy - just type in whatever food it is your eating and it brings up the points straight away - it has points for almost everything you can buy in the supermarket, including own brand ranges. There is also a mass of recipes to give you some meal ideas, and they have their own forum for support.

Let us know how you get on x

    Congratulations to our SoTW efrieze.

Well done to all the losers and STSers as there were some great losses this week. Commiserations to the gainers this week.

This weeks quote is from Flavia Weedn: "If one dream should fall and break into a thousand pieces, never be afraid to pick one of those pieces up and begin again."

These scales go up to 351lb, 25st 1lb,

after that its industrial scales im afraid, upto 750lbs, now there's a hint about ones lifestyle ....
hi eric, thanks for that, the scales i got from argos are meant to go up to 31st 6 and i think im about 29.
im hoping that they are faulty cos if its coming up o-load then that means im at least 2 st heavier than the last time i got weighed.
I also tried sort of half standing on them with the other foot on the bathroom floor and they still didnt give me any reading, so i do think they might not be working right.

well done everybody thats had a good result today

Eric - How is the muscle feeling today ?

Much better, since i stopped taking the beta blockers the aches, cramps, pain, fatigue and constant injuring myself have gone :j

I am slowly getting back into the flow of training, the MulTaq is helping a lot, I am not in sinus rhythm (provisionally booked in for restart on the heart in sept) but its more under control and i can train pretty reasonably now, say 80% of what I peaked at, its slowly improving as well but I am able to do a good 1 hour session a day now, i have to wring my T shirt out afterwards and there's sweat all over the treadmill. :j:j
