cheapdate i did sw a couple of years ago and loved it compared to ww, i cant stand counting everything - the more i count themore hungrier i get. i also never have breakfast but on SW had the works every weekend and couldnt believe i could still loose weight.
Sweetie chances are your doing nothing wrong you will always have times when you feel you've put your all into it and you loose very little - just remember you've lost over half a stone and chances are next week you'll have a decent weight loss if you are having a lot of green days make sure you up your water to shift the carbs.

cheap date - happy to help with any questions you have. Glad you're enjoying the SW thread too. It's v good for meal ideas.
I'd like to go to a class but i'm not sure how it works, and I dont wanan get tied into paying lots and having to go every week. Ideally, i'd like to go and buy the books then not go back again!

granny - sounds like a nice idea for breakfast, might look into which cold meats are SW-friendly (i think it depends on fat). Hmm.. I'm sure croissants are vegetables really!!!

you're probably just as well to get the books off of fleabay. i stick to the red and greens - dont understand the mix thing probably because i dont want to as with r & g i dont have to think - too much other stuff to think about! just watching the rain roll in again and am supposed to be taking mad spaniel round the loch (about 3 miles) must get into the pound shop for one of those rain ponchos to keep in my pocket.

  • Thank you for all the support. :)

Cheapdate, you should definately try SW, I didn't really get the whole eat as much as you want and still lose weight, yet that's exactly what happened. It not only surprised me but also my mum who thought I'd been eating loads and at ridiculous times too.

Skint I drink approximately 3 litres of water a day, I have to for the whole yoga thing lol. I however haven't grasped the concept of switching up days so far the last three weeks I've stuck to EE. I'll ask a bit more about that on the SW thread :)

Thanks for the link BettyB and your soup sounds delicious, normally I stick to lentil or roast pepper soup.

I'm very suprised that I managed to loose any weight this week but perhaps worry and crying burn calories ??

Most definitely Alli!!! All the stress makes you lose weight. I have never lost so much weight as I did when I was under immense stress. The weight fell off me. Think I would rather be fat than have it happen that way again tho :(

Ok there is no easy way to say it but my Mum has Kidney Cancer and if we are lucky she will live past christmas.

So right now I have a gaping hole in the middle of my body and all I want to do is fill it with cake, biscuits and chocolate but I am doing everything in my power not to eat anything out of my eating pattern.

Also I know I am a worry eater and normally eat to stop anguish which I now know I cannot do.

My exercise has stopped due to time problems and right now Weight loss is a real battle. I feel like I am standing in the middle of an earthquake and the world is falling down around me but I don't know how much long I can still stand.... :(

So I hope you can understand a little how I am feeling and why I am a little distracted at present.........

Well done on all the losses so far and I will weigh in tomorrow as normal but I am not looking for a normal loss.

((((hugs)))) I understand completely. If eating makes you feel better then let it, weight loss is not going ot be your main priority right now. It's horrendous to watch any one go through, worse when its someone so close to you. It's what my DD has. PM me if you want to rant x x
