What breakfasts are good ones? I need something to fill me up untill 1ish from eating at about 8. I can have porridge but thats milky and i wouldnt have it without milk and then i NEED to have sugar on it else i wont touch it. Toast is a fave of mine, but then i have to have anchor spreadable on it else i wont eat it. Then theres cheerios and thats milk. So thats my three options, each one a negative :/ I dont like egg or anything proteiny like that, so i feel stuck with breakfasts!

you want low GI cereals such as bran, rolled oats, oatibix, wheatbix and shredded wheat (not the minis they all seam to have a tonne of added sugar!), or if you want toast make sure its a low GI bread like burgen soya and linseed (it freezes great), sainsburys have an alternative soy and linseed bread and it tastes great as well.

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/Bread/Burgen_Soya_And_Linseed_Bread_800g.html

with regard to milk i use sainsburys 1% as its almost the same cals as skimmed milk (skimmed 36 cals -100ml, 1% 40cals - 100ml) but tastes like normal milk to me, and sainsburys are doing 8 pints for £2 :), tesco's 1% has a tonne of extra sugar in it ...

I mix up the milk with my protein powder for added appetite suppressant etc my protein is not messed about with a tonne of additives like most whey proteins ...

its unrealistic for any meal to last from 8.00 to 1.00, I would take a lower GI snack bar like the nature valley granola bars, they come in 2s and you can split them so one mid morning and one mid afternoon, there also 1/3rd off at ocado and tescos (i bought 10 boxes :p)

Can I join next months challenge too? Also, porridge is amazing with syrup on it. YUM! The Quakers porridge is so cheap and microwaveable too and only like 2 points! :D
