Fellpony - I was sending positive vibes today and I am so happy that the treatment is working :j I hope this means it is going to continue and everything is reduced to nothing as quickly as possibly for your DD x

ignore BMI it is made up nonsense, and was ignored for over 100 years after it was created
% body fat is the only way to go imo0 -
Fellpony Great News :T hope everything continues to go to plan!
BB- Sounds wonderful........
Not been great here this week. Eating cheap as chips the past couple of weeks to try and empty the freezer and save some dosh. Although the freezer still feels like it's over flowing and my purse still seems to be empty.
I think a lot of it has to do with me dreading going back to work today. Tears are so close to the surface. I know it will be ok, probably going to get a warning for being off so long, but nowt I can do about that. Fired off a couple of job applications while I was off, will just need to wait and see if I hear anything back from them.
Anyhoo, best get to work, sounds like such a bad word after my time off4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
went to see the practice nurse for blood test results yesterday and she said everythings fine but i should make an appt to see the doctor?
so if everythings fine why do i need to see the doc?
i didn't think i was a hypercondriac until that moment!0 -
fellpony - thank you for sharing your news with us. You must be delighted with DD's progress with her treatment. Here's hoping she continues to battle it successfully and she will be well again very soon. All credit to you that you try to have some focus on your eating still. I don't think I would be able to contend with that also. Can you try to keep your own supply of drinks with you, or a stash in the car to dip into at the hospital? I'm not much of one for sweet drinks myself, so always tend to stick with a plain old cup of tea myself, though machine tea isn't something I can do.
BB - how's the raw diet going? Are you feeling the benefits?
I'm still struggling to find focus. That seems to have been my theme for this year. Yesterday I was attacked by a large packet of Red Sky crisps, and I'm afraid they won! Today I've started as I intend to go on, I have had a bowl of jumbo oats porridge, which has definitely filled me up. I'm convinced I'm not feeling 100% purely down to my weight. I have lots of niggles going on, my back is aching, my legs sometimes too, and even with taking my cod liver oils, starflower and evening primrose oil, it's not so good, although my knees have improved. I have slowly been depleting stocks of anything unhealthy in the house - having the children home for the holidays helped there. I just need to properly meal plan now.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0
