Lucky you, i've never been to Lucerne. How long are you going for?

The highest mountain, i've last been up, was mount Pichincha, years ago. I was struggling at 4500 metres then, having difficulty breathing.

    Hmm, i'm grossly unfit now.

A week, Ani - to be honest I'm not keen on the idea of cable cars as not good with heights and the only time I've been in a chair lift the bar wasn't shut properly and drifted out of reach once we moved, so I don't have much confidence in them! I'm hoping to go on the lake, though - love boats. And chocolate - and cheese - so plenty to enjoy. :)

4,500 metres is a long way up - hope you walked! :D My one claim to fame regarding heights is that I walked right the way up the Eiffel Tower. Coming down was easier though. I think I would struggle a bit to do it now. :)

You had best be the first to try the virtual cake, Lemon Tree. :)

I think as it's virtual money you could probably indulge in a few piano lessons if we don't tell Martin? :money:Only if you practice, though. It could be virtual practice on a virtual piano, though you might get some strange looks depending where said virtual piano is located.

As for cheese scones (shakes head sadly) you have missed a treat. :)

You are putting me to shame, LT :)
Haven't done any scales, real or virtual, and have eaten real cake (made by DH and very yummy).

I am busy getting nothing much done and as we're away from tomorrow (and my daughter saysd 'Planes don't wait for you, Mummy') I really need to get things done. :o

I thought a list might help: I can update as necessary.
I have got as far as getting showered, putting a second load of laundry in the washer (am behind due to wet wekend), doing a spot of ironing, putting clothes away and having lunch.

I'm short of sleep and headachy so I've had a paracetemol too.

    Today's list:

    [STRIKE]Pay Mum's paper bill[/STRIKE]
get refund for train ticket - have been given another form...
    [STRIKE]visit Mum[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]tell Dd howto look after the animals[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]tell DS how to look after the plants[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]hassle DS2 for any washing he wants done by tomorrow[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]clean out rabbit hutch[/STRIKE]
clean fish tank - just about to do, last thing before we leave :D
    [STRIKE]pick blackberries[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Put washing on line[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]make shopping list[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]clean walking boots [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Finish that wretched fridge cleaning [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]find adaptor[/STRIKE]s
    [STRIKE]wash hair
    [/STRIKE]
Shopping list: (mostly for 20 and 18 y.o. staying at home!)
    [STRIKE]Insect repellent
    coffee
    tea
    bacon
    cheese
    white bread
    pasta sauce
    pasta
    toothpaste
    shampoo
    stuff for mum
    bin bags[/STRIKE]

I've a couple of extra spends to confess: £3 for shorts in sale, £5 for umbrella in rain (yes I know I could have got wet but this is a non-black umbrella for holidays too).
