I'm quite amazed that I finished yesterday's list (there's a first time for everything) but of course I've thought of various things to go on today's:
Wednesday:
Shopping with DD
Update instructions list for DS1 who isn't migrating with the rest of us
Clean out fish tank and newts tank
Clean out hutch
Thursday:
Pack
Give DS1 money for things he will need to repair plaster in kitchen!
Water plants
The plastering in the kitchen is hopefully going to showcase DS1's skills gained on a course earlier in the year. When we had a new outside door put on a couple of years ago, none of us thought there would be a problem with it being heavier than the old one, but it is and between that and the rubbish plaster work, the area round the door is now disintegrating.
The idea is that he can plaster away without our sticky fingerprints or people tripping over him, and by the time we get back it should be done. He's got just over a week.
Well the washer and dishwasher are on and I may even be able to get another load in each before DD and I go out.
DH has gone off to work with a to-do list too. Work is crazy at the moment, with insufficient staff and everything in flux. A couple more days and he can escape and leave it to senior management to juggle for a week.Miggy

I've emailed you Miggy...
I might have a move. I'm a little paranoid about like this same sex marriage thing in Scotland. I mean what if churches refuse to do it cos it's against the Bible? I feel we are doomed for judgement. The more we rebel against God the more we can expect his wrath and curse upon us as a nation. I've nothing against homosexuals. I mean they have their probs. I have mine. But like I don't like the way they flaunt themselves. Not least when it's basically wrong!!! (this is just my opinion and that of the Bible's and not that of MSE I hasten to disclaim. You have an issue. Take it up with God)...
So I pray the mod's don't come down on me like a tonne of bricks for this but like still. It makes me scared. The way they are rising up (and that of other non Judeo-Christian faiths) and putting their laws in place and persecuting the christians and taking away our civil liberties in the process.

Hi Erme.
Well you are still here and not struck off. Will check my emails in a bit - I've had a few probs with email recently but I will make sure I find yours.
Yep, plenty of anti-Christian things going on. I don't know so much about in Scotlamd but in general it's noticeable in England.
Dinner's ready - hope your dentist was okay (I take it that's where you were going not that you were invoking a rare Scottish curse on anti-Christian society?:D)Miggy

An enjoyable and productive shopping trip with DD, though perhaps it's as well we don't do that very often!
She is the only one of my family who can spend several happy hours looking at clothes shops. Yes, it was a very girly day! She treated me to lunch, too.
I got a few (more) clothes: I haven't bought so many in years as recently but the bringing-out-the-best-in-Miggy trend needs to continue and buying new clothes is part of it. We had some fun with makeup (DD used to sell it so she knows about the products in that particular shop) and ooh-ed and ah-ed at a couple of homewares departments. Yes, a girly day indeed.
Spending: £7.20 on fares, £7.99 on gifts, £9.90 on food shopping and £22.60 on clothes. The food money was budgetted for, so all in all that's okay. In fact in some ways it was better than okay: one item of clothing was reduced but I don't know what the original price was, and three others were reduced from £8, £4 and £5 to £1 each, so I know I had a saving of £14 there - not that I would have bought at the original price.
DD got a bargain pair of shoes among other things so she was very happy!
I think it's time I cleaned that fish tank: one less job for tomorrow.Miggy

I got struck down on Mike's thread LOL. Just for being scared? I got told I was being 'highly offensive' - och well....
I think some of my post got partially deleted. I don't know. I meant to write about the move and then I heard about the homosexual thing on the news and wrote about that
Och tis life...take thy pills and move on...
Not heard from psycho chap for a few days. S said not to mention him as he's really not worth bothering with. I did email him saying I might have a move but this was pre viewing the property and I guess he doesn't want to talk to me as he's still not taking my calls or replying to my texts. No way am I speaking to his voicemail. He'll likely ignore that too. So next time I see him wasting his money I'll mention it then.
So the flat is gorgeous. Yeah you will have to check thy email again Miggy. More news on the flat front and now I have miggyitis (as in can't sleep) as am so excited about the possiblity though won't know if we're definitely going for an exchange until Saturday. Don't know what time she will turn up. Might have to miss volunteering or part of it. Hope not.....Flat to blitz. Need prayers...
As for someone else on here saying my something about my view on this homosexual thing being just 'my opinion' - nope it's the word of God and you wouldn't exactly say to a Moslem quoting or paraphrasing the Koran that it's 'just their opinion' so why to a Christian
We are doomed - dentist (invoking that strange scottish curse LOL)

EI think I've replied on your diary... hope it all blows over - your explanation on Mike's thread should hopefully do the trick.
