That's wonderful. :) I've decided that I'm going to look for one thing every day that I am thankful for. That must be yours. Mine was seeing a hedge of wild pink and white rambling roses, blooming despite the rain and wind. Hope Mum is not disorientated again by the move back.

I decided to make a start on the heap of things to do for Mum and got one small order sent off, but was lured away by the garden on my return from the post box and instead of doing any more, have found the saw and done all but one branch that needed to be removed from the choisya.

Today looked suspiciously like summer, but not to worry, I checked the forecast and the coming week is supposed to be around 13C max round here.

I have visited Mum (and dropped off some of her stuff, thus creating a very small amount more space here), been reassured that although coughing she is in fact in good spirits, then done her unpacking only to find a load of stuff that's not hers. All hers apart from some tights seems to be there, which is a good thing.

We watched Dad's Army at full blast again (I have to shut her door because the volume sets off the fire security and slams it automatically) then I trudged over to the hospital (not too far really) and delighted some nurses by returning the stuff they had lost. :D Mum knew it wasn't hers so I can only assume someone on the ward packed for her.

And... I've finally finished the cosmetic surgery on the choisya, and DH has mown the lawn, so although the garden still looks a wreck, it's a very slightly less-wrecked wreck. I did cheat and grouped a motley assortment of pots round the choisya to fill in a bit and pretend it was an arrangement, but it will take a while for it to work its magic.

Money-wise, I think we have just got through the week on £10 less to make up for last week's £10 overspend.

Watching 'River Cottage - Three go Mad'... will Felicity Kendal ever stop being Barbara Good?! :D And the chap from Ashes to Ashes... I would never have recognised him!

I have a feeling this is not an MS programme because I will get ideas and want to cook.
