Postage is expensive - and did you hear it's going up again some time soon? Time to buy some in advance I think. (Superdr.g have 5% off I think). I hope Ebay put their postage allowances up.

Could that just happen to be baking with a side-line in fixing things? ;)

Nope I'd have to get Enviro health in and there's no way my kitchen would pass enviro health LOL

Yeah I hope Ebay put their postage allowances up too...Postage costs a fortune and unless you send it recorded you've no come back if the buyer says they haven't received it!!! Argh!

    Borrow someone else's kitchen?

Not mine! You yourself are very welcome but not with Environmental Health in tow. :D

Seriously though you seem to be a pretty good cook. :)

    Don't do it!

Have the cuppa by all means but 63 pages of my waffling? Unless you need the sleep, of course... :)

    Hi Erme,
I just send second class and get a proof of postage from them. Then I email the buyer to thank them for their order and tell them I have the proof of postage in case of any issues. That way you at least know they're being honest if they say it hasn't arrived and you have some comeback with the post office, saving money on recorded delivery fees. I hope that helps.

Congratulations Miggy on losing so much weight people can either see through you or they think you're a pole! Obviously if you're now saying you're fat we may have to believe your imagination is running riot!

Mmmm - coffee! Any chocolate with that???

So, as you can tell I'm dragging behind the wagon still! Or is that wagon wheel!!!! Sorry!

I give in - virtual chocolate is allowed in Lent isn't it?! :D

Several packets of virtual Wagon Wheels are now open - please help yourselves! Coffee is nearly ready, there's tea in the pot and I've got squirty cream and marshmallows if anyone would like a hot choc?

Pull up a chair, the fire is lit in the grate, the wind can howl all it likes outside, we have chocolate and coffee. :) Now all we need is someone to tell a story...

What a gorgeous morning! It's quite warm in the sun even if there's still frost in the shade. (Bit of a change from the wet weekend!)

I got to the doc's early and she says I have conjunctivitis and an allergy... the allergy is probably why I can't smell things properly at the moment. Prescriptions galore - thankfully I don't have to pay but I also don't have to use them unless I feel the need and at the moment I don't. I'm only being careful as a relative had an untreated eye infection a couple of years ago and as a result has lost most of the sight in that eye. Scary.

    So... today...
Here is the remains of yesterday's list:

    • Sort out things for homegroup
    • Write to M and A
    • Sort out recipes for raffle prizes
    • Transfer money if I can work out how to do it
    And to add to it:
    • make bread (Mr T is now charging 30p for fresh yeast :()
    • make pasta (yay I now have a pasta machine - but haven't used it yet)
    • Find a recipe to use my pasta in :D
    • tidy kitchen
There's already a second load in the washing machine and the first is on the line.
