I'm 42. I never got into debt until I was 37, well apart from when I was a student but I paid that off within six months of graduating.
I'm glad i had a carefree youth and feel sorry for all you young 20-somethings having to deal with such worries. But it's no fun being in debt when you're older either, and responsible for a family. Hey PaP - the one thing that this thread proves is that Debt is no Respector of Age:beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
