I'm 42, but spent the whole of the year that I was 41 thinking that I was 42 already (I kind of lost track :)) so even though I'm still knocking on a bit, I've got an 'extra' year from somewhere to try to do something useful in. Improving my maths would be a start :)

I'm 42 too, and also spent the whole year I was 41 thinking I was 42, so that's pretty weird eh ... moreover we've both got bird avatars, pounds and pensive, that's weird too. In my case I think it's a classic case of the old "birdbrain" not really working, but I'd never say that about you!

    Debt-free and Proud!
Am 29 and will be 30 in April. Would love to be debt free by the time i hit the big 3-0 but I think 26K in six months is a tad unrealistic! :rotfl:

I shall satisfy myself with being debt free just before my 33rd birthday which will be the remains of my HSBC loan that is fixed until then

I'm 37. Dealing with debts that go back about 10 years - but I had problems before that and was fortunate to have family who helped out - want to do it myself this time - I think that's the only way I'll learn :o

Am starting to worry now about my daughter who will be 18 next year. I don't want her to end up in the same position as me but she spends money the minute she gets it - oh well - I can only advise.

    R :)
Proud to be dealing with my debts
