Average age of a DFW poster

After reading others posts, I just wondered what the average age of a DFW poster was and if people thought it was a good "lesson" to learn whilst your youngish! What with all the credit open to young people today an all!
I've just turned 25 but had my lightbulb moment when I was 24, since then I've not touched a credit card and have reduced the debt by almost £1700 and I'm addicted to finding ways to pay it off quicker! I definately think (give me strength) that I will have learnt my lesson and never use a credit card/overdraft facility again!

I'm 23. Only just had my lightbulb moment, but glad I have and not in 10 years time, when I would imagine, my debt would have been much worse. Haven't touched my credit card for 2 months though, and already made 1 over payment on my loan.0

I tell everyone that I am 28 too, I've just had a hard life.
Seriously - 56, but it, to me is the fact that there is such a spread of age on this forum, that we can all benefit from each others' experiences.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

My Average age is 19.5. That is taking Age 1 + Age 2 + Age 3 , .........
then divide by 38 years.
That, therefore, makes my average age 19.5.
Thanks.
Made me feel a bit better anyway.:rotfl:Debt at worst: £33000
Debt now: £0, (Ok, a £650 overdraft)
£3000 Credit card (aiming to get this down with 0% card)0 -
