Me is 25! Had lightbulb moment at 24 and at the current rate won't be debt free until I'm 28! :doh:0

29 - and debt free till I finished being a post-grad student - education and wisdom don't necessarily go together...FWLBM - 1st Sept 06 - Debts: around £80k (not entirely sure...:o )0

So far, the youngest at 22. Had my lightbulb moment at 21 and now only have £483 of bad debt (excluding of course my student loan).
Thanks to this site, I didn't let the debt increase and haven't touched a CC for over a year. :beer:How long til pay day? :eek:

I had my lightbulb moment in 2004 haven't touched my cards since, still paying off slowly btu have an interview tomorrow for a job which pays £8000 more a year, fingers crossed

I'm 33. Found this site about a year ago (and lurked for a few months before joining in:o) but have been actively trying to beat down the debt for about 2 years now, so I guess my lightbulb began flickering back then...:p
...although it most definitely became a 100 watt bulb when I realised what a great bunch of guys were hanging out and giving helpful advice on here!!:rotfl:
