  • I'm 28, been a DFW since the age of 23, found this site about 2 years ago and I've made far better progress in the last 2 years than I did in the first 3... the end is finally in sight! :j

    Leni, great thread idea. why don't you create a poll - eg

    16 - 20
    21 - 25
    26 - 30
    31 - 35
    36 - 40
    etc.

    It'd be easier than calculating it yourself. :)

    I am 35. Wish I had had LB moment sooner and definitley before kids:eek: I now hope to be DF by 40 at the latest but hoping to make it slightly sooner.

    Hi all,

    I am 26 had my LBM when I was 25, have paid off almost £8,000 since then. I am so glad I decided to get my finances sorted out now, hoping to be mortgage free by 40.
    Saving for an early retirement!
  • I'm 36 but feel like I AM 16 :)
    Wish I had a 16 yr olds responsibilities!!... ie none!


    Life is sometimes a bit pants but occasionally you can wear your french knickers! :D

  • I'm 26. I've been in debt since I was 18. I've made some attempt at paying it off before now, but not as seriously as I am now. I WILL be debt free by the time I am 28.
