I'm 38, was a bit overdrawn at college, but then was never in debt until 2 years ago....It got to more than £5000 and that was my lightbulb, I am really impressed with how many financially aware 20 somethings there are here, I assumed most people were older....0

I'm 22, had my lightbulb moment when I was 21 and found this site around the same time
Thankfully I was only at about £1500 debt at the time.... sensitive lightbulb
..... and I'm debt free now apart from my student loan :rolleyes:
This is an interesting thread - I thought most people were much older than me but the average seems to be around mid to late 20s, perhaps a bit older.

I'm 25 too! I think it's great that there are lots of people in their twenties here.
My LBM was only a few weeks ago...I've got approx £2k on a flexi loan, £700 overdraft. That's £2.7k!!
Am not counting student loans (under & postgrad) or else I'll panic!Do or do not. There is no try. (Yoda!)
