hi guys,
im 23, i didnt have any debt until this past year when i decided to buy a new house which meant not only getting a mortgage but i needed a small loan, hope to have cleared the loan up within the next year. then i will start on the mortgage :eek:

I am 38.
Been in debt since I married at 22, still with DH though. Been through some REALLY tough times - husband set up own business one month after daughter born (12 yrs ago).
Realised how life-destroying being in debt can be & with hubby a bit older than me, need to get things into perspective.
It's really good to see today's younger people taking money matters seriously and hopefully debt will decline.

I'm 30. I've been in debt since getting married, buying a house and having 3 kids. Though not necessarily in that order. Unemployment & bad health has contributed to our debt.Keep Calm:cool: Smile , Enjoy!:dance:

hi ya, another one just turned 30-hopefully debt free by 32 and mortgage free by 55!!! (lets hope its sooner than that!)Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞0 -
