Average age of a DFW poster

25 yrs and almost 1 day!! Had my second LBM yesterday!

I'm 27 my OH is 32 and we had our lightbulb moment last december, as many have already said I too thought that most posters would be older.

I wont spoil your averages by saying how old I am but I am old enough to be a father to most of you (It depnds where your mother is from) and grandfather to a lot of you.

I am 25 and 6 months. I had my LBM this year when I was 24. Snowball calculator puts me at 27 at DF date, but I hope to do it by the end of next year when I will still be 26. OH is 27 will be 28 at hopeful DF date.

Perhaps with so many people realising the evils of debt earlier on in life, that knowledge will pass on to people younger than us and that in turn will begin to buck the trend of personal debt. You never know we may actually see the level of personal debt reduce below one trillion - or what ever stupid figure it is now!!

As an older DFW, I'm hoping the average isnt too low. Would make me feel even older :rolleyes:

LBM was only last weekend so still getting used to things.

Im 35 wish I was still 25 I didnt have any cc's then ive certainly made up for that in the last 10 years not to worry hopefully debt free by the time im 40!
