    I'm 34, had my lightbulb moment when i was 33. Wish i was back in my 20's though, i didn't have any debt until i was 25 when i moved to suffolk and bought a car

    Just turned 38 and according to the snowball calculator, I'll be debt-free four months before my 40th. Which, ah, gives me time to save up and have a bloody good party! :D
    I was cut out to be rich, but got sewn up wrong.

    well thought i would help push the average up a little.......im 32........my life has been one long lightbulb moment, unfortunatly the ex was never on the same wave length!!!.......one day i will be debt free :-)

    I'm 47 so that should push the figure up a touch! I'm ashamed to say I've been in debt since the age of 18.
