  • I'm 23 and feel that money management should be taught in schools, ie budgeting, taxes, etc. Don't think I'd be in as much or any debt if someone had showed me a site like this 7yrs ago
  • I am 31 and if all goes according to plan I will be debt free before my 33rd birthday.... I just can't imagine how that will feel!
    Debt free date - June 2008 :T :T :T
  • I'm 28, but only for another four days. debt is currently around £3500 and hoping to have it paid by my 30th birthday. Been doing matched betting for the last 4 weeks and made just under 500 quid, quidco is around 200 so I am on the right track. Just hoping I don't get suckered into buying heaps at xmas time!

I agree with money management at schools - there should be something about managing, saving, living within means - when I went to school we never learnt how to cook a budget meal, all cakes and pizza. On top of that there should be something about buying leasehold property!
