  • Well done on 6.5k rags! :T

That's great that you have beaten last years goal too.

I must get started on my Christmas list too, but first I have 5 birthdays in the next 3 weeks to deal with...It doesn't help when you ask what people would like and you get the usual 'I don't mind' or 'I don't know'

  • Hey all, i am now officially beating this cold!!! My voice is still kinda husky but with a little help from mr beechams all in one tablets i feel human again.

It is ds1's first day back at school, and i am missing him! The 7 weeks hols seemed to fly by. Have got loads of stuff done though as ds2 now having his 2 hour nap so bored of my own company i have cleaned, tidyed up, 2 lots of washing in and out on the line (really windy here today so drying in no time:D) washed the pots, put the toys away.................................and now having a brew and a nosey. Its mad how one little 5 year old can stop you doing so much round the house!!!!!!

Payday at the end of this week, is it sad that i am excited as once we have paid mil this month we will be under £1k?????? Also, working hard to pay off mil and cc but after that we will be saving money for the wedding rather than overpaying on the loans, so will i still have a diary to write in as will still be debt busting but not as i have been???????!!!!!!??????

Worked out last night that from last year and this year so far i have paid back £10k. Which would be great had we not needed to buy the car or run so far into the overdraft as would have meant we would only have about £10k left to go. As it is i am back to over £20k....................................:( booooooo! least none is on catalouges now or on stupid % rates.

  • Thanks for all the nice things about my cake.

Not much going on here, am now at the start of my marathon 2 weeks of massive amount of shifts so am gonna be so so tired. It was my payday yesterday and thinking i can transfer at least £300 to the credit card, and still need to put the cake money i have to it as well. Gonna do all that on monday.

The nurse who is off sick with her back came into work the other day and is still really bad so i have a feeling she wont be coming back to work for a while. Shame for her but hoping it will help me out a little (my god, that sounds really bad, im a nice person really)

right, only a quick update seen as not posted for a while. Off to get ready for work. another day, another doller/pound!!!!

  • Another quick post from me.

Work is going ok although feeling a little worn out now, one day off amongst loads of shifts is not enough i have decided. Would of usually had a day off sick by now but am forcing myself to get out of bed and go to work.

My dryer is playing up yet again, keeps tripping my electric out. thinking i may just get a new one next month and only transfer the extra £600 or so to the debts. We have nothing but rain here in the lakes most of the time so a dryer is a must (and i dont have enough space on radiators/airdryers)

Ds2 no longer has his dummy!!!!!! Came home on sunday night and his last dummy had got lost. OH said he called out for it for about 20 mins but then fell asleep. Not as bad as last time where he was shoving whatever he could into his mouth instead. He asked for it twice yesterday when he was feeling tired but settled quickly with just his milk. Woke up from his afternnon sleep a little earlier than usual but been fine otherwise. I am so happy, took ds1 till he was 3 to get rid of his!!!!!!

right, off to get ready. oh the joys!
