Some of them just don't know what they are talking about. Thus you get such stupid statements as :-
there are now quite a few high court prescedents set where parking companies are succesful, and admitteedly an equal number where they lose.
And the same mod stating that they have had "many instances" where people have been told to ignore and then have gone on and lost a court case.
When I have asked for more details of those lost cases and those "high court prescedents (sic)", answer came there none. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

And, of course, parking ticket cases are not heard in the high court. So another mistake. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Stopped going to CAG as they don't offer advice on parking correctly, the moderators on there are worse than on here which is saying something. And they appear to have an agenda of offering stupid advice, and that is not just about parking but other areas alsoExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
There is one thing in CAG's favour, evidently there were contacted by Parking Eye's legal bod telling them to remove all mention of PE from the forum. They resisted that request. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Just got one of their letters for overstaying in a car park. £75 fine or £50 if paid now. The sheet has screen captures of my car and the duration etc.
Is the advice still to ignore these things?
Cheers.

This old thread started in 2010, how did you land & stay here? The current thread list, updated every day, says yes, still the same advice!
