Is it a cushion that could be dampened with a cooled solution of bicarb in hot water, spray or dabbed on? Then it would dry & take any smell with it?0 -
Only a quicky - just to say we went to see the Hairy Bikers last night....they were so funny, and we were starving afterwards! They made a prawn curry & parathas, then later a fillet steak on crouton-thing with rocket salad & courgette & lemon linguini.....we were upstairs, so could see & smell everything :drool:0

On the plus side we shelled loads of peas this morning (which said kids won't eat) but even better is I have my first raspberries ripeningNot that I eat them - I don't really "do" fruit

Evening all
Sorry but I've not read the thread yet, so (((hugs))) to those in need.
Today at work flew by! :jI went to the gym after work, first time in 2 weeks, and took out all my frustration over a certain person (loooong story!) on the equipment, and felt a million times better!
I made pasta with HM chilli tomatoey sauce for tea. The sauce was leftover from Sat, so just had to boil the pasta really. I made enough for lunch tomorrow. I am on a course which should have a free lunch tomorrow but it may not be nice lunch or veggie friendly, plus I'm back on my diet (SW) so wanted to remove temptation!
DW went on this morning so have just emptied that. I try not to use it very often, only when I have lots of very dirty pans etc :rotfl:.
Off to flop on sofa now with a book
Have a good evening all

...I agree that some of these youngsters need telling who pays the bills .I would have been mortified to have treated my parents house with such disrespect...
I wouldn't ever dream of such behaviour in my parents house either, and I'm not that much older than some of these children were mentioned to be. Dear me, reading some of you lot makes me very glad I don't have kids. Trashing the place, eating all the food, NOT eating the food... No thanks!
Now then, I'm off to scoff some of these here lovely reduced strawberries I snaffled earlier. They were all marked down because they're short-dated and going off, but I poked around and found a pack that doesn't look like it has too many soft/bruised/furry bits so it might last, if not I shall simply be forced to eat them up sooner. It's a hard life, isn't it?0 -
