Thanks for supportive comments. Its totally rubbish and he will just deny it was him:eek::eek:
I think removing the offending furniture and carpet is all I can do. We will put some cheap lino down to protect the floor boards but he will have to sleep on his bed base and get himself a sleeping bag.
He is at work at the moment so not been able to confront him about it. I agree that we would never have done that and his lack of respect for his room really upsets me. We worked really hard to give him his own room and decorated it for him and then he just ruins it.:(I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Hi all,
Hugs to anyone who needs one, specially PennyPLets hope your next stay in hospital improves things for you ,love.
I've not posted since Friday, think I've still been reeling from shock as DS1 got made redundant again on Fri aft, after only 3 months in the job and before that out of work for 15 months. He rang me from the car park after he had been given the news, obviously very upset, and mad too.As he said to his boss, surely they must have seen the way things were heading at the time they took him on-boss admitted things have been getting worse the last 18 mths.2 others have gone as well.Anyway its no use going on about it,its done.
Whats annoyed him most is the fact he was moving out this weekend to rent his mates house, whats annoyed me most is I spent loads in Mr S on Friday lunch, buying his first shop for him- including all the basics for setting up home  Obviously it won't be wasted and has gone into my store cupboard and freezer, just might be a while before we get to use the extra stuff
I think he is going to have a go at freelancing, register as self-employed etc.,but really he needs a new Apple computer-he's had his since he started his degree course, which was 2002,so its a bit of a dinosaur, and pretty slow compared to the newer ones. They are a lot more expensive than ordinary PCs,but most design work uses them.Trouble is he wont get any redundancy, not been there long enough,& hasnt got enough to buy outright-any money he had is long gone after being unemployed and he wasnt in work long enough to build any savings back up.However,he is young and healthy, thats the main thing, some people are much worse off.
Its still really windy here, and my washing line has just fallen down :mad:It was more or less dry,so I've given it a shake,& it'll have to do.Just going to put another load out.
Tea is burgers for DSons,DH and I will finish up some mince-I made meat pie yesterday.Thats all easily done so I'm off upstairs to do some more on my quilt.DS2 isnt at work today-he was complaining of headache and sore throat,DH said there isnt a lot for him to do today, hopefully he'll be OK tomorrow.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Penny-Pincher!! wrote: »Hi Guys!
I need some advice/help on something but its very embarrassing. I had an accident last night on the sofa...luckily it only effected 1 cushion, but how do I get the smell out? I have used Zoflora and have now put on baking soda over the area. I just burst into tears as I couldnt even get up and OH/DD had to help me get into the shower. I feel so low this morning and annoyed at myself......I'm 35 !!!!!!.....and I cant control my body.
Baking soda should do it. This is an occasional side effect of my disease and regardless of the pain and other physical problems and limitations it gives me this is the one that by far and away causes me more distress than any other - and the hardest one to whinge about to your mates! Hugs to Pen Pin xxx
As for the stories of some of your young adults - goodness I think I would have been shown the door if I'd have treated my parents house or indeed my bedroom with such disrespect!!!!
Right no more procrastinating about doing the housework I need to get my butt into gear.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Pen-pin Aww don't worry honey it happens to the best of us at times
Hilstep 2000 My late OH used to visit the masonic homes as part of his almoners duties and they are brilliant and extremely well run .I have always said that if I ever need care that's where I will end up. I spent three weeks once back in the 1980s in the Masonic hospital in west London and it was fantastic and the care was amazing.
I walked past sainsbobs this morning and got DGSs webcam for him at argos and then came home so I wasn't tempted to spend more than I had to.It was a bargain as well as it had been reduced from £9.99 to £5.99.I have just made a creme caramel for desrt for several days this week and am waiting for it to cool so I can stick it in the fridge.Knitted a couple of squares for the blanket I am making for my friend for Christmas and just came in from the conservatory for a cuppa.I have been watching the birds out there fighting over a few scraps of bread and I put a shallow dish of water out for them as we have had no rain for about 10 days.
I agree that some of these youngsters need telling who pays the bills .I would have been mortified to have treated my parents house with such disrespect and my two Dds would have been given the Order of The Boot if they had done so in my house.
Right I'm back off out to do a bit more knitting
cheers chums

Baking soda works on the "other" kind of accident. You will find the biological soap powder or good old stardrops should work. XXIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window
