    Good Morning All
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Mine was spent, housework, washing, changing beds, Mr T shopping, re-packing DS's case. Be nice to go to work shortly for a rest!

DS left for Switzerland y'day a-noon. They hope to arrive there around 12.15pm today! Its kinda quiet here.

1 cat & the dog are at the vets later for their yearly booster jabs! £30 each!!!

Lunch will consist of mixed salad (no dressing), & a bowl of fresh fruit salad
    Dinner, meat balls & pasta

essex-girl - well done for your early start to bargain xmas shopping.
beemuzed - have fun at Ikea. Not been for a while, it used to be my 2nd home!
redruby, good luck with the weight loss. Its taken me about 18 months to lose 2 1/2 stone. Then I stopped - put 3/4 a stone back on, started diet at easter, and now lost that 3/4 stone. Its hard work at times, and like you - your body becomes at a stand still. We have to have a break once in a while to re-set our metablism.
    Mrsmortenharket - yuk!

Right, best be off, have a great day

    Hi,
Sorry not to have posted for a week but am still living in a parallel universe due to the combined side effects of my meds.

I did however manage to make two huge quiches with the help of kids dad last night which have been devoured by kids. I have plans to put a wash on as DS1 needs work clothes washed. Goodness how he will manage when he lives by himself:eek: My cleaner coming today which is good as there is so much bits from the garden as the doggies in and out tramping in leaves.

I read everyday so keep up with you guys. Jackie G hope you get work sorted. I agree the union is the way to go! Jayward - hope you start to feel better soon xx

    Morning All!
Bit grey here today, but very warm. Cat has stayed out all night, all week for the first time. Heard him howling at 3am, let him in the front door, went straight out of the french doors! He's asleep now:mad:

Going to Dad;s lunchtime. He has finally accepted that he can't cope, and has agreed to go into a home. Hate doing it, but I can't have him, and there is nowhere else. He is hopefully going into a Masonic home. Meeting the visiting Mason later to find out.:o

Aching all over today. Started on the garden yesterday, and did too much as always.:o

Got to send some ebay parcels too.
    Curry for tonights dinner.

    Have a great day all.

    HI again

I have had a problem and decided to tackle it today. My electricity is very high, so just checked consumption on washer, dryer, dishwasher and got the following figures.

Washer.....9p a wash , mostly use 40 quickwash which takes an hour.
    Dishwasher ....25p a load
    Tumble dryer...42p a load:eek:

Off to get someone on electricty board to double check my figures lol

    Morning.

Been stressful day so far with DS. Not sure nursery drop off is going to get any better but ho hum. My weekend has gone in a flash - house seems a tip and I don't have time to tidy it up. Will be working on DD's birthday cake this week round at my mums house so no doubt housework will be not done :o
Loads of left overs after our buffet for FIL birthday. Bought two quiches from Mr S as I didn't have time or inclindation to make one - gosh it was tasteless  I've just had some for my brekkie and it's dire. Got another one left too so will have to find a way of disguising it.
Tea tonight should be tuna and tomato pasta although knowing me I'll change my mind by this evening.

Sorry not read yesterdays thread yet. Hugs to those that need them. Have a good day OS or not.

I know what you mean. To save money I had the heating on less in the evenings when the kids had gone to bed. That meant stuff that ususally dried overnight took a bit longer - consequently the house felt like a laundrette half the time and the airer was permamently up in our bedroom :(

    Good Morning Everyone.

DH was home last night, and I've just waved him off again. He's planning on driving to the EastCoast then down to Stockport, do a survey and comehome again tonight, so no doubt he'll be even more crabbit than this morning!

Housework to do today, and some stuff to sort out for our OS meet up tomorrow, need to get some picnic stuff prep'd and I'll cook it tonight or tomorrow.

    Have a good day everyone.
