My biggest problem is in the middle of winter, when my thighs and bottom just get so cold they don't warm up again all night, even after a hot bath! This winter I will be experimenting with shorts over my leggings and I won't care *how* silly I look!

Off to look for a marathon schedule as an incentive. :D

Hi Hypno, do you have winter running leggings? They are brilliant - I got them from Decathlon. Everything is kept warm this way. Also in the winter I wear gloves.

And today I saw many runners - they run in the Washingtom Mall. It was funny though - loads of older guys running with younger guys in their lunch hour. And I am thinking - in this city even running is about power and influence.

Very important Buffy. The knickers don't have seams anywhere - otherwise it can become very painful. When I run Loch Ness had to go without (which made the massage after tricky) because I had forgotten my running underwear and could not risk wearing normal ones.

Sorry if TMI but thought some might find funny and others learn from my experience.

Oh yes, my running knickers were a very wise "spend" I have to say!

Well, my 83p will have to last me a day longer. For as long as I have been at my current place of work, payday has been on 23rd often going in a day early. Although we don't *formally* have an official paydate, it is expected, on that basis. So, logged into my account to see it still just saying 83p :( Not the end of the world because I don't have any DDs etc coming out today, but my envelopes will have to wait until tomorrow!

In years gone by, this would have been a disaster. Today it is an inconvenience. That, my friends, is pretty good progress and a reason to be positive about the future.

Yes, it is a shame that number crunching will have to wait, but I feel strangely ok about the money not being in the bank. I would previously have instantly felt narky at the very least!

Of course, if the money is not there tomorrow, narky will not even begin to describe how I feel :rotfl:
