    I'm defrosting the freezer. The excitement never stops around here :D

    <snip>
    Izzy says "bum" and pats her bum when she parps. And if anyone else does it she tries to pat their bum, which is fine when it is just us at home, but a bit embarrasing if it was a total stranger when we are out somewhere :rotfl:.

    I used to love defrosting the freezer with my mum. Nothing more satisfying than pouring boiling water on blocks of ice :D

    My SILs little girl, who is 2, once reached out of her pram and slapped a quite large lady on the bum :rotfl: SIL was mortified :D

    I met DH on fb, i added him because he kept popping up in my 'you might know these people' bit.
    We started speaking as i was starting a job at his place of work and one night i went out and started texting him and he said he was in a pub, so i pretty much ran there and the rest is history :D

    CAFC he is totally looking down my top :rotfl:
    On our 'official' pics there is one of him staring at my chest :D
  • One of my friends oficial photograph album contains a picture of her husband grabbing her bum as they walked back down the aisle. He temporarily forgot all the cameras and eyes were watching them!

    Not long before little squeak will be doing all these embarrassing things :rotfl: the twins are not long out of it, I must be mad! :D

    I'll never forget DD1 shouting 'Boohbah' and pointing at a very large lady who was wearing a particularly unflattering turqoise velour tracksuit when she was about 2. Fortunately the woman in the tracksuit thought it was baby babble but another lady with an LO in a trolley was in fits the same as I was.

    Google boobah if you've been spared the pain previously :rotfl:

    I met my OH when he lived near us before, when we were with other people :eek: odd really because (my ex aside) we all knew each other before everyone is still really friendly.

    I met Husband while out to dinner with friends. I was aware of him as a friend of a friend sort of thing, had said hello to him briefly and had dinner with him and some others without really talking to him before. Then one night we were due to meet at a bar and I had a horrible run-in with some drunken men on a train (I got into the train and they thought I was there as a gropey toy :eek: and the trainload of Germans just sat there and stared). By the time I got to the bar I was very late and very upset, everyone else went off to secure our reservation and he bought me a drink and sat with me while I calmed down. Someone had saved us two seats beside each other at the restaurant and we ignored everyone else all night .. and the rest is history.

  • SS what a stressy story, but with a happy ending :)

    Bastage camps have changed the fb page, so you can't view any details if you aren't a member. I wouldn't imagine they will accept any members who are your friends either 3! Never mind.

    Aw, I love all these romantic meeting stories.

    Mine was through work, I'd been single for about a year. OH had always been lovely to chat to in work, was very good looking and was very attentive on a works night out BUT he was far too young. I'd had a wine or two, and thought, sod it, I'll have some fun. 7 years later, he's still here.
