AArrgghhh!!! All I want is some sleep, just a little lie in
Im so fed up OH has had 3 days in a row off and not once has he offered to get up with T and let me have even just an hour in bed to catch up on some sleep. Despite me constantly dropping massive hints and constantly saying how tired I am. Not only that but I just cant stop yawning and even his mum commented on it yesterday and I replied 'yes Im shattered a lie in would be nice!'. Hes worked a 6 day week for the last 6 weeks so have let him lie on his one day off, but I cant remember the last time I got a lie in, am so up set
we're supposed to be going out today and I just cba now and feel like he only wants to be a Dad when its convienient for him. I could go on but I wont sorry to start the day off on a bad note.
Aww I think its probably time to just tell him straight out that you need a lie in, i do actually manage to get a bit of a lie in at weekend but OH gets up early anyway, normally before the kids get up and once theyr up all i can hear is him talking to the kids saying "lazy mummys still in bed" grr cant complain too much as i spent probably most of yesterday in bed due to a bad case of hangover-itis :rotfl:
Hope everyones having a good bank holiday?

Interesting. Still, the law's clearly on your side and not on RMcG's, it seems like the poor woman's been very naive and is now liable. Very silly of her, but even sillier to announce that she's not liable when shown the law that says she is.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Morning. Thanks for the suggestions about Surestart. It is opposite, for our town, very chavvy flats, and a lot of the parents picking up their kids from the school whose grounds it's on have obvious drug/alcohol problems. I'm going to give it a go though, cos Sophie's starting to require a bit more stimulation now.
My OH is a bit hit and miss with baby stuff, and is truly dreadful at changing nappies. I'm not sure he understands quite what it's like to have a BF baby when they have a growth spurt and you can barely go to the toilet between feeds, much less do the dishes or make tea.

My hubby's crap at doing nappies too... Although he's very happy to take them out and put them in the bucket for me lol...
I also tell him when I need him to get up with the children and we do take it in turns at the weekend... There was a bit of a competition for this mornings lie in, but I won since he didn't unset his alarm clock and it went off at 5am and then I couldn't get back to sleep at all afterwards... I only got an hour longer than him though, when he's on a lie in I'll keep the children in the living room and relatively quiet... When it's my lie in, he's happy to let them wander up and down the hall making noise... To me a disturbed sleep isn't worth claiming as a lie in...
Caitlyn requested a nap again this morning... That girl is so cute sometimesA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

:mad: for all the HBC carry on, you would think they would realise they were in the wrong and juts pay up! if it wasnt so far away i think i would take Charlie and see how they would react and get 3's money back!!!
Im off to school for 'school dinners' its the kids first full day so we have been invited to have lunch with them
Pre school community team have also just been and we are getting Charlie into 'big' nursery after christmas:j we have to write a passport all about him so they know what they have to deal with and also so they can get extra support in!
i have also been naughty and bought a newish car its a 2001 renault espace as is huge inside! it also has isofix which is great for getting the car seat in and out and making sure all the kids have real seatbelts instead of lapbelts!
SS the fairies will be heading your way today and a 'big' bag of something may have just slipped in somehow :A
better go Charlie has used the potty!!!:TWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
Hello,
My DH is very good - though spoils Katie - we agreed before Katie was born that if I managed to bf that he would be responsible for nappies and baths if he was around.
He loved it, it was his time with her he'd make a nappy change last 10 minutes playing with her and stuff.
We've had a productive morning, Katie has made some fairy cakes, then we watched I Can Cook where they made a Honey Tea Loaf, all the ingredients were in my cupboard so that's in the oven baking as we speak.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Krystal, he's too intimidated by the reusables to even try. I find them easier to put on than disposables though.
MDW, that is so cute. That's a lovely way to teach your little one how to cook and spend time together. Honey loaf sounds really yummy.

Ah, hubby's not really intimidated by the reusables... He's just so cack handed at everything he does, she's usually rolled off and smeared crap up everything by the time he's got a wipe out of the packet... Bless him...
I've got him out mowing the lawn... Probably the last time it will get done this year knowing my lovely hubby...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
