    Hi all,

Back from holiday on IOW and getting stuck into the washing at the moment.. will try and catch up reading the last weeks 70 pages but a summary would help of any important news please....

Had a good time but a few tense moments with my sister and shes not talking to me currently... still we enjoyed ourselves despite the weather and thats all that matters....

    Catch up later...byeee for now....

There you are! Hope someone gave you a summary :D Mainly 3's battles with HBC. Susan's expecting (was that before you went away?)

Not talking to your sister? I have 5 brothers and 3 sisters and I 'talk' to one. Nothing serious I hope?

Glad you had a good time regardless :D
  • Just a quickie, have had a bit of a catch up.

I found giving hubby certain responsibilities and being brutally honest when I needed a break was the only way forward. I would never and have never expected him to deal with night wakings though, they have always been my territory. I don't think men have the same inbuilt baby monitor that women have so I would be awake by the time he haulled his arris out of bed anyway.

Busy day ahead, hopefully be back for a chat later.

  • :D For all I know, all you ladies are all called Frank from Grimsby

Theres nowt (local accent there too!) wrong with Grimsby - Elle lives there and I can confirm she's not called Frank! I'm only 8 miles away from Grimsby too! Hope the scan goes well

I've been a naughty girl and agreed to buy a new car! I only got my fiesta in March but I want something bigger so am picking up a 07 reg Citroen Xsara Picasso tomorrow! Its got cruise control and parking sensors, 5 huge seats with loads of space so my boys won't be able to kick the back of my chair anymore. Although I'll be cursing myself when its time to clean it as I can bearly reach across the roof on the fiesta so its step ladders to clean a picasso. :rotfl:

Maz- I meant to say welcome back and I'm glad you enjoyed the Island. Did you find some things to do in the not so good weather?

3, it just occurred to me. Has anyone explained why they called the Bastage Camp Guru in the US for advice if he has nothing to do with the camps?

:T Bruno....I thoroughly agree and also struggle to understand why some OH's don't help out. I'm really lucky coz my DH does loads, often without being asked. But he doesn;t take hints and was lying in at first while I was up through the night and up early with T. (partly coz he couldnt feed him obv) Now i ask what day he wants his lie in at the weekend and I have the other one. I feed T in bed then wake DH up and he brings him down while I have another hour or so. :j

HBC number 6 on my google search too (taking out the video). A few thanks on vent board from unknown posters. Their must also be some holiday review sites out there to post that on?

I looked at the main one 'trip advisor' but it only gives you the option of reviewing a hotel or a resort - i went to neither.

Som (hugs) hun. If he's anything like my OH, hinting how tired I am just flys over his head. I tell him 'it's your turn to get up with V in the morning'.
We're a bit mixed up with him recently starting shifts - but whenever he gets his days off, we take turns at getting up. When he's working lates/nights obviously I get up.
And this will all change next week when the big ones go back to school and i'll have to get up on weekdays anyway. :(

CAFC :jfor sleeping through. I'm sure you'll get used to it at some point and stop waking yourself.
