Sorry, I havent had a proper catch up but Ive been trying to lurk and follow the thread. I just asked for some advice re tax creds and the sure start grant and a lovely person offered some very supportive comments. I dont know why, but its made me so upset that I could cry! (Hormones, funeral and stupid tax creds possibly the cause.) Can you have a look and tell me if im just imagining it? :(

PS, if shes one of your friends on here- sorry!
PPS, sorry for being an emotional wreck!

Don't ever take comments on here to heart. I understand some will do so, but it really isn't worth it. You'll always get what I call 'keyboard gangstas' who are probably weak people in real life and need to be macho somewhere and this place is great for being judgemental.

I just tend to laugh at people who get funny with me, as it's really not worth listening to people who have nothing useful or positive to say.

I can't help with the query either, but i'm sure a few on here could?

((Hugs)) Michelle! There's always one prat isn't there! I do wonder why some people bother to post sometimes - do they just sit at home waiting for a thread to come along that they can pick at! (Plus, benefits/tax credits boards seem to be a meeting place for these idiots!)

What they said, Michelle. The benefits board is quite possibly one of, if not the most judgemental board on here, it doesnt matter what you post you will always be the one in the wrong.

I remember when I posted on there and on the child support board, one of the first things I ever posted on this forum, asking if it was true that when you claim maternity allowance then your partner can drop his support payments to his ex £5 a week I got ripped apart and had my body parts posted to every country in the world and cried for at least an afternoon over it!

We do indeed have whisky, 3. Perhaps I'll self-medicate a bit...

Hugs, Michelle. Ignore the obnoxious. There's always one, and sadly nobody's created an internet licence yet.

Michelle - hugs and you have my sympathy, I had nightmares with the Tax Credits myself last year.

Definitely not your fault, your an exhausted new mum, it's a nightmare the amount of paperwork they expect you to do in the early weeks.

I'm fortunate to have a wonderful mum who helped me through it. She even did the calculations for Tax Credits, which were beyond my powers of reasoning at that time.

  • Em- you need to update your sig to include your latest feline addition.

Hugs Michelle. That is probably why so many of us post so much off topic [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] conversation on here, because we are all fluffy and lovely, unlike the scary MSE outside world.

Work was bleurgh, but my little boy greeted me with some mega :D smiles when I got home and my hubby cooked me tea, so I can't really complain. I do have to work tomorrow too though, so I will complain a little bit:p.

In dire need of sleep so off to bed soon. Get well vibes to those who need them, cheerier day tomorrow vibes to those who need those too.

Oh god I'd not dare go in the benefits board  Discussion time is bad too if you venture into a benefit thread :rotfl: You'd think these people would get a life wouldn't you? If they are that appalled at people receiving benefits, they can go stand outside Downing St and protest or something.

Did I see earlier that they are getting rid of NHS 24 Direct? They are useless child abuser name callers anyhoo but sure they provide SOME help.

I quite like Sam and Cam's baby name - Florence, well maybe Flo - It's pretty :D

Hey Susan maybe you are expecting a boy this time and that's why your body isn't going into meltdown :D ?

Had the music channels on earlier and Keira heard Rhianna's rude boy and was like "Mum that lady does sexy dancing" and she kept walking round the house singing "Take it take it take, rude boy!" That's getting nipped in the bud, it's bad enough she goes up to random people with dogs and says "Mister, can I rub it please?" Omg elaborate please Keira!!
