My favourite clothes of S's are from Asda! Their stuff is great quality. Having said that I did buy stuff from Primark yesterday, 3 pairs of jeans for £3 each :money: they are lightweight ones so wont last him the full 6 months they are meant to fit him for but they will dry easily :rotfl:Mummy to

I find primark sizing is a bit weird. Izzy has 9-12 months ones that still fit her and the 12-18 month ones we have fall down on her - they are like clown pants! The tops are fine though. Maybe they are just designed for chubby babies? My ebay auction has just finished for £72. It is a pitty I'm selling on behalf of my parents really. I could just do with £72!
Anyway, I really am going to curl up in bed with my book for a bit. night all.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

They are tight on S, Primark trousers are always the first he grow out of! They are a bit skimpy in their t shirts as well I find. When he is starting to outgrow his current size I always stock up on Primark stuff for him as it always seems to be inbetweeny sized! Their sizing is weird for adults too though, when I was a size 10-12 (many moons ago:() I couldnt get into their size 18 jeans!!
Night Ladybird, hope Izzy doesnt wake you up too early...Mummy to

Evening everyone,
Spent the afternoon in Chester, I took a trip to Bravissimo, I was last fitted when Katie was 7 months old!!!
An old underwired one I dragged out of the drawer is a proper fit!! So I only bought 1 new one, but DH has promised to do some more overtime so I can buy some more on line
Katie was loving the Rhinos that are currently dotted around Chester, her favourite bit of the day was a trip to Build A Bear, yep there is a new member our family - a purple glitter bear named Cuddles - I'll get a picture tomorrow they're both off to bed now. I managed to resist buying an outfit for the bear and the sound machine was also broken so the bear has no voice, but it does have a heart as Katie put a little satin one in after it was stuffed - Katie didn't like the noise the stuffing machine made, hands over ears, she did relax a bit when she saw the bear coming to life.
She made everyone on the bus back to the car park laugh as there was a man stood near her wearing a cowboy style hat, so she was giggling, the mans wife said she's laughing at your hat, Katie said cowboy hat, I agreed Katie then when Yihaa with accompanying arm movement at the top of her voice.
She fell in love with a Cinderella dress in the Disney store so that's on the list for Christmas. We didn't leave the store empty handed, Katie is now the proud owner of 7 pairs of knickers with Minnie Mouse on.
Sami - Tabley is even closer so I will go.
Bruno - I've not got a gate on Katies room as she can open them, when she wakes up she just wanders through to us, it helps that the stairs are nowhere near her room.
I love Asda clothing, you can also get some really nice bits from Peacocks, I'm not fussy, it has been lovely getting the hand me downs though as quite a few of them are designer.
SS - hugs - hands over a hot toddy.Proud to be dealing with my debts

I am currently selling all the baby clothes boys and girls on eBay and buying stuff that will fit...T grew out of her 0-3mths at 8wks old, so she basically needs everything:cool: K has also outgrown 12-18mth tope, but he has midget legs and still fits some of his 9-12mth jeans:eek:, as well as 12-18mth being too long in some styles!
The older two have not long been kitted out so all they really need are a few jackets for the winter and maybe another pair of jeans or two each.....I actually like Next or Asda jeans on them. i did get a couple of differet designer makes for L but they don't seem to fit him right:mad: I will just stick with what I know fits well and looks good......Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Oh no - have you got any whiskey in?Hold on.... Susan, do you have a baby in your tummy?
:rotfl:@ Tia! Where have you been?ladybirdintheuk wrote: »I will have a catch up later, but while I remember - someone was looking for black and white and grey check knee high socks? they have them in Asda. I did consider buying some for the faries, but I didn't know what size.
It was me - thank you for thinking.
My mum picked up two pair in the market for £1.80 a pair! And I found some slightly too big on ebay. But I shall have a look in Asda.
MFD How cute of Benjamin speaking on the phone.
V insists she wants the phone off you when you are speaking to someone, but just holds it to her ear smiling!
I hope you've found a lovely restaurant and your tummys are nice and full now.
Clothes - I like Asda and Tescos for all of the children. We'd not really looked in Peacocks before, our's is quite new, but we went in on Wednesday and I got V some very cute jeans and a top which seems to be nice quality.
HBC - they've not removed our posts today from the WW or the HBC pages.
They have removed it from the HBC Movie Screening page and have somehow made it impossible to repost.
I have however found the facebook page of the 'healer' and posted it there.
OH is being a div and has his policeman head on and is getting stressy about libel etc! - he'll get over it. I'm sure he loves my stubborn streak really.:beer:0 -
I'm gonna be having a clearout tomorrow, is anybody in need of any boys clothes in sizes 6-18 months? And anything in particular? Do let me know and I'll be sure to keep them to one side and not dump them in the charity bagMummy to

Sorry, I havent had a proper catch up but Ive been trying to lurk and follow the thread. I just asked for some advice re tax creds and the sure start grant and a lovely person offered some very supportive comments. I dont know why, but its made me so upset that I could cry! (Hormones, funeral and stupid tax creds possibly the cause.) Can you have a look and tell me if im just imagining it?
